I second that.
Though I will believe that Britain has outpaced the economy when Wales actually has a decent employment rate.

Yeah, Wales is in extreme need of new industry and jobs. The UK as a whole may be out of recession, but it seems Wales is still in a bit of a mess.

Pull the other one. I'm still struggling to get by and wondering how I'm gonna afford college.

UK finally out of recession... don't believe everything the BBC tells you.

That's true, but then again - Wales has been a mess since the late 70's / early 80's.

I never noticed a ressesion other than what was shown on the news. A few useless shops closed and that was about it. Things seemed no slower at work either.

Well University isn't cheap. The English government loans us cash so a person, regardless of background, has the chance to go on to do higher things.

I'm in Croatia. My whole life is going to be a recession.

I think I'll migrate to UK.

Well, I've just got a job after 18 months of unemployment, so I'm out of the recession at least :p

Meh. I was never really affected by it. Only two people I know lost their jobs (They very quickly got new ones) and I never noticed the inflation in shops much.

if you're claiming you're unemployed and don't realise that recession is a term for negative growth (ie, gdp and gnp wise) you're unemployed for a reason (you're stupid)

Ahh that explains the complete lack of jobs - oh wait.

And even when its actually over its going to be a bit screwy with more and more people going to colleges or uni's cause they couldn't get jobs at the moment and so there'll be lots of qualified people with not enough matching jobs for them to take.

are you implying that positive growth somehow doesn't create jobs overtime? or has the twittering mass of whiny sub-100 iq citizens with high school diplomas as qualification expecting solid jobs in the finance sector blurred your vision?

there is nothing stopping you from getting a job in a rebound economy if you've got a degree. clue up.

0.1 % Growth, woohoo, yee hah , get the piggy bank out Darling we're gonna spend spend spend............ Oh sorry 0.1 % I thought 3.5% growth and I based our spending forecasts on 3.5 %, Ah, Oh, And where has the 0.1% come from ..oh it is motoring , the one we?ve spend how much on, the one which will stagnate now because of VAT and the scrappage scheme ending............. Ah.

Put the cash away Darling looks like I'll have to get out the credit card bills again and let them know I need the limit raising AGAIN.

Once again the media is flying the flag of false hopes. No way are we out of the recession yet, and the sooner the major banks stop being so greedy maybe we'll see an end to this sooner.

At the moment this is just a Blip in the statistics which would be greatly influenced by Christmas. I'll start saying we're out of recession when the Q1 2010 results also give positive growth.

Give em two months before panic sets in again... This is all lies and deception in a vain attempt to get the markets running again. And seeing as the banks are continuing to hoard all their money, nothing's gonna happen.
