I was just wondering are there any movies you've seen were you completely ignored something in a movie after a while, but then looked back later after a while and realised that a subplot was just dropped or something just doesn't make sense if you actually think about it?
For example, in Inception, two things I've noticed, what happened to Cobol? Cobb still owes them their info, and the movie just kinds of ignores this half way through. Also, why couldn't his kids just move to him?, he asks their grandfather to get their gran to take them on holiday so he can see them, why not just move to a country without extradition laws to the States.
And in The Sixth Sense, how messed up was Bruce Willis' life that he just shows up at the house of his patient and starts performing psychiatry and doesn't notice that half the people he meets on the street completely ignore them.
Now maybe I missed something and if someone has answer for some of these I'd love to hear it. Plus post other bizarre cases of movies just ignoring things randomly.
EDIT: Lets try to ignore ranting about movies you don't like getting sequels and things like that, thats how the industry works. Just quirks in plots that you noticed.
