I want it, along with Uncharted 4. But it looks almost exactly like the Uncharted trilogy I played on the PS3. The usual Whack-a-Mole cover shooting, in abundance. Nothing I haven't done before.

I agree. this is uncharted feminist edition.

its another cover based QTE fest action game. waste of time.

I don't blame you there, buddy.
I really like the Uncharted series and f*ck*n' loved Uncharted 4 but hopefully this is just one last bite for fans and Naughty Dog will know not to let this roll on into something bad. I understand that's a bit of a high hope since games are a business and nothing physically stopping Naughty D from making more or letting another developer pick it up but hey, a boy can dream.

Half expected Lara to show up there.

Um, how?

Oh wait, I know the answer.

it feminist?
No, but by B-cell's standards, anything with a female protagonist would be an insult to gamers everywhere. Or something.

But if you want to test it, feature every piece of dialogue in the trailer, imagine it said by Nate and another male, and ask whether gender is even addressed. The answer is that it isn't, so calling it "feminist" is a stretch.

One of the things I always love the most in Uncharted games is looking through ancient temples and finding out what kind of ancient puzzles the developers have come up with.
I can't even imagine having to design and come up with these temples and puzzles, they always look and feel so neat.

Needless to say, I'm pretty stoked to lose myself in another Uncharted adventure and with Chloe no less 😁

I'm looking forward to it.

Not expecting anything mind-blowing, just more Uncharted.

Nadine being along is a bonus. Her kicking seven shades of shit out of Nathan was my favourite part of UC4.

It's because two pre-established female characters play the lead in a spin-off to a franchise that has already put the main male protagonist out of commission. Hence it's pushing feminist SJW communism down our throat.

Seriously, it's rather pathetic and distrubing how many people are getting angry over Chloe and Nadine being the lead in this DLC. Yes, DLC. Not even a main game, but DLC. And people are blowing their top over it.

OT: I like Chloe, and Nadine was fine. Maybe we'll get some closure on their characters with this, since they're the only two in this series who's fate is still unknown. I'm not expecting too much from The Lost Legacy though -- I don't think there's one piece of single-player DLC that's not from an RPG that was ever really satisfying. There's always a sense of 'hors d'oeuvres after the main course' to it. And not even that good hors d'oeuvres.

It'd be cool if they used this to experiment a bit with the formula, but I reckon this'll just be cobbled together assets of Uncharted 4.

You seriously need to stop huffing nitrous oxide from the tanks the dentist throws away.

Never played Uncharted, but there being a lady MC does peak my interest, I just admit.

Or maybe it's because Neil Drunkman (sp?) is always going on about making his games feminist and diverse and all that? That's why they had to toss that stodgy old misogynist Amy Hennig out of Naughty Dog. Grill Powah!

Anyway, wasn't Uncharted 4 already Uncharted: Feminist Edition?

Yeah, because at one point a woman beats his ass, and then later she holds her own against both Nate and Sam. Boooo women! Eventhough in that later scuffle they totally beat her, which morons who complain about her being overpowered tend to forget.

'But, but Drake can take on loads of dudes at once, so it doesn't make sense for one person to cause him this much trouble... Oh wait, except for that one dude on the train in Uncharted 2 who can take multiple magazine clips before going down, only to come back to life and strangle Drake like a chicken, and Chloe needs to save his ass. ...Boooo, Uncharted 2 is pushing the feminist agenda!!!'

I don't remember quick time events in Uncharted. If it has them, they certainly aren't abundant.

Is it feminist? I can't tell. As long as it has a decent story well told, I don't really care.

Chloe is a fine piece of ass. Not as sexy as in Uncharted 2, but still hot. Elena is the better waifu, though.
Haha, I think they did a good job on her model in this one too though. The inspiration from Tomb Raider's Lara Croft is obvious here, but Chloe to me still stands on her own. I'll enjoy guiding her through this adventure very much, thank you.

I'm hoping they realized that 4 was pretty lacking in their trademark set piece designs, and stepped it up here. The train from the trailer is blatant fanfare, but I'm still pretty geeked to see what they do with it, as well as any other possible jaw dropper.

ps, I literally lol'd at that last statement of yours.

Well, if you say so. I'm just relaying the message of the dishevelled hippy who works on those games.

I haven't really heard more than a peep against Chloe being this game's lead. About the worst I've read is that some people would've rather had Charlie. While he was ok, he wasn't nearly as much of a fixture as Chloe though.
