Hunted the daemons forge.
Picked it up for £5 on the weekend because me and the girlfriend are skint. It's actually a very good game. I can understand that from a solo play it would be an average game but its hard to find any form of decent co-op these days.
Story is decent and the combat is well done, cover based shooting with a bow and arrow along with sword fighting is something i haven't seen before.
Although we probably won't be seeing a sequel anytime soon, I'd like that the "cover-based shooter meets fantasy hack and slash" concept is used in other games. Hopefully better executed.

Those are in my shelf too. The ones with the marks(...) were rentals i`m going to buy someday. Dead to Rights Retribution is great. I love this one same goes for Singularity. The only title i regret buying a bit is TimeShift(at least i got it cheap).

Hunted Demon forge - is also a really good buy.

Psychonauts! Great game. It's not so underrated according to the people on this site, though.

Also Clive Barker's Jericho. Good game. The setting was cool and creepy. Especially those bosses.

Dark Cloud

Great game, you get to design all the towns after they get destroyed.
I was actually thinking of starting this game soon. I got it awhile back on a whim since it was only 6 dollars. I absolutely loved Dark Cloud 2, but I've heard some negative things about the first. I've played quite a few Level 5 games such as DC2, Rogue Galaxy, Jeanne D'arc, Dragon Quest 8 & 9 and have yet to be disappointed.
The first Dark Cloud is actually a brilliant game and I would thoroughly recommend playing it, though in some cases, it may seem a little outdated, especially if you played Dark Chronicles first.

However, the combat is fairly solid and the town building is really good as well.

Captcha - Make it so! I think I have

F.E.A.R. 3

Had on a really great single-player campaign with some standout levels (The Sam's Lot-ish store that's bee taken over by crazed cultists being my favorite), some of the smoothest console controls I'd ever seen, and some really great online modes, the stand out being "Fucking Run." Damn shame nobody really plays it anymore. When I had it for 360 I could never find any games online.

If anybody hasn't played it, it's on sale used at Gamefly right now for $10. Highly recommend it.

Final Fantasy 13-2, I thought it was very good and mended 90% of the problems 13 had, also has a bitchin soundtrack! The ending was a huge pile of ASS though...
Have they still got the same battle theme? you know the one that scars itself onto your soul http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfu0XBf8kmk ?
Well, they have these...

I personally think they are much better.
Interesting new sound track the, but old one grows on you doesn't it?
Nice talking to someone my side of the Atlantic for a change. :)

I'm going to sacrifice any credibility I have to the god of honesty. According to Steam, I have clocked up almost sixty hours on Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers.

I like the art (and descriptions) on the cards. I like the mix of chance and strategy. I like the unlock-every-card-for-every-deck compulsiveness.

But mostly I just like the fact that I can play it for half an hour after a long day at work and feel totally chilled out.
I actually LOVED both of the new DOTPW games. I even have all the expansions to them. Great value for money IMO.

For $10 on steam you really do get a great assortment of decks, and the game is just plain fun. Also, the AI is pretty good in my experience (though I'm bad at MTG so what do I know?).

The battle theme from the first game plays in a certain place (not long though) The other tracks grow on you as well.
Also have interesting field tracks.
This here is a good boss theme
Love this one! Plays as a battle theme at certain times (not enough)
This one starts off slow but...man it gets good!
Wow thanks for the upload man :)
I have not actually finished FF13 I got to the bit where you fight the big metal guy on a plane, but I couldn't kill him so my characters are still there, sat outside playing charades for the 100th time or something.
So my policy is to not play games unless I have played the prequels (unless they are unconnected, or I don't own the console), with this in mind do you think that the rest of FF13 is worth my time? I enjoyed what I did play (I didn't fully understand the story though), I thought it was entertaining and certainly easy on the eyes.
Also do you think would I need to have played all of 13 to get the story?
Thanks :)

The last one Caius's theme? It's really good. Sounds like they were trying to do a new one winged angel or something, it seems to me like a mix of ballroom music, orchestra and singing.

Shadowrun for the 360. Best multiplayer experience ever.

It might not have much, but I never have so much fun playing it and it has one of the better online communities I've ever seen.

I'm gonna have to go with E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy off the top of my head, seeing as it's kind of the underrated game I'm playing right now.

Yes, the game is buggy as all hell, yes the netcoding for playing co-op isn't optimized as well as it should be, and it may be one of the first games I've seen in a very long time that can actually be put into an unwinnable state on some missions (thank goodness for the mission restart button), and it is in fact the VERY first game I've seen where deliberately fucking up mission objectives actually makes you progress FASTER than if you just did the objectives, but GOD DAMN does it ever get all of the little details right and I love it for that.

The game makes you out to be a pseudo-magical cyborg dude that's part of a larger organization of pseudo-magical cyborg dudes, and it nails that feeling right on the head.

I'm just playing that now and I have to agree about the mending part and the soundtrack, tis very bitchin', but I still enjoyed FFXIII.

Now, I've heard that there are multiple endings, but is the overall ending a big pile of ass, or is it just a minor one?

Glad you like them! :)

I' also glad you asked the story question, the menu of FF13-2 has the beginners primer, It basically tells the story of the the first game, chapter by chapter, It's purely text, with some nice music for each segment, I recommend watching HassanAlHajry's walkthrough for anything you missed, I grew bored of the game up to that point, played it to near the end and felt it wasn't fun anymore, FFXIII-2 on the other hand, I still like playing and want more! I believe it is worth the money!

Also Caius's theme plays quite a bit throughout the story! :)
The beginner things are always handy, but I feel they are not a good enough substitute for a whole game, on the upside maybe I will finally understand ff13's story.
I generally cant be asked with just watching walkthroughs, watching someone play a game is not much fun for me. But I will check that guys video's out.
Since FF13-2 is only about £12 I think I will give it a try, after my exams. :p
