Pick it up for the price! I have a pretty big-ass back-log of games to play after me exams too.

I recommend watching the final story arc, Chapter 12-13 in the walkthrough, The opening Cut scene of Chapter 12 is fucking cosmic!, Definitely watch the ending! It plays a HUGE part in FFXIII-2 plot. Watch where you left off in the game anyway, beating the Barthadalus gives a big story-point.
Head to the part 55 for the end of the fight! Head to part 57 4:25 for a plot point.

Ask me if you want to head straight to chapter 11 and I will fill in the details in between if you want.
Aw thanks mate but I should really do some revision now (classics exam on Friday, and the teacher has sort of abandoned me). So good luck with your exams too :)

Final Fantasy 13-2, I thought it was very good and mended 90% of the problems 13 had, also has a bitchin soundtrack! The ending was a huge pile of ASS though...
I'm just playing that now and I have to agree about the mending part and the soundtrack, tis very bitchin', but I still enjoyed FFXIII.

Now, I've heard that there are multiple endings, but is the overall ending a big pile of ass, or is it just a minor one?
Once you beat the final boss, you get a canon ending to the game (I won't spoil it) The multiple endings can be found after you get the paradox scope (reward for finishing the game) but do not affect the canon ending.
Oooooh, I didn't get why there were multiple endings but there was a canon one, thanks for clearing that up.

El Shaddai.

It was flawed, but it was also pretty imaginative and no one payed attention to it...

I picked that up last week, because it was cheap and it was a very rare case of a game I literaly knew nothing about before I made my purchase. Last time that happened was with Shadows of the Damned and I was pleasantly surprised, so...

You get school trips!!! My school is way too cheap for that, plus I think they blew this years budget on renovating the teachers lounge......yay.
Yeah but best of luck bro hope it all goes well for you :D

I haven't seen barely any mentions of SpaceChem. That's an absolutely brilliant puzzle game. 50 hours says Steam clock, but it feels certainly more. Maybe because of the intensive flow-inducing thinking it offers quite endlessly.

I would have to say the most recent Driver San Francisco. Silly chases, great graphics, superb and varied handling (before you know it you'll be bending corners like beckham), the current-day incarnation of an 80's police movie.

Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII.

I feel like that game deserves more credit than it's given.

It's been a while since I've played it, but I did play through it at least two times, which is more than I can say for several other more well-received games that I own.

I'm going to sacrifice any credibility I have to the god of honesty. According to Steam, I have clocked up almost sixty hours on Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers.

I like the art (and descriptions) on the cards. I like the mix of chance and strategy. I like the unlock-every-card-for-every-deck compulsiveness.

But mostly I just like the fact that I can play it for half an hour after a long day at work and feel totally chilled out.
I actually LOVED both of the new DOTPW games. I even have all the expansions to them. Great value for money IMO.

For $10 on steam you really do get a great assortment of decks, and the game is just plain fun. Also, the AI is pretty good in my experience (though I'm bad at MTG so what do I know?).
Glad to know there are other fans out there. :D I bought the expansion and extra decks fairly recently when they were on sale. Even at full price, the game is incredible value for money considering the hours I've got out of it!
