UNfortunately, i only play pc :p, but hearing some of the hilarious, err, "arguments" with little kids on Live from my friends, im wondering if anyone else on the escapist has funny stories that involve 12 year old adolescence saying how they had sex with your mom last night [or something along those lines].

It actually can be anything from said above to you and the kid AGREEING on something, and possibly arguing with someone else.

I've spent years playing online on the PC, and have never seen one of these legendary creatures. Obviously, they all flee before my passage and melt into the intertubes.

...or something. God, I'd hate to use Xbox Live if all the stories are true.

I've had these.. discussions with children on rainbow 6 vegas 2 before, but, in all the years of pc playing I only had someone around that age once on Killing Floor, myself and the lvl 6 support specialist took it upon ourselves to weld the door shut when he ran outside into the hallway to go play Rambo, a skrake ate his face, and then he left, it was glorious.

I was playing G-Mod and there was a little kid with an annoying voice who had been flamed so much, he used his age and voice to try and make people lose on purpose and shit "If you pick the map I want, I'll be quiet" "If you let my team win, I'll be quiet" but no one would cave so he would just annoy everyone

If your the kid cant you tell a story about how you were being so awesome?

But seriously,The stereotype is really getting annoying.Although it is sometimes true an adult can be 50 times worse than a kid.

Whilst playing CoD MW1 when it was played the most, some little kid on my team was boasting a large amount of bullshit. I called him out, making fun of his position on the scoreboard, and other witty retorts. All he could come up with is "Your mom!" I finally told him to get his mother on the headset, believe it or not, it actually worked. As soon as she put the headset on, I spouted every racial slur I knew, called her many different things; prostitute being the popular choice, and telling her about everything in this game. The things I said that were in the game like burning down orphanages, killing civilians, were not in the game, but she believed me. As the headset was taken off, there was some absolutely brilliant shouting. It was difficult to hear, but I think it involved taking the 360 away and not buying anymore M-rated games. It was the best on Live ever.

its pretty much on popular games cause they ask their mommies to get them *insert new FPS game here* and the people who wants to play games without having thier eardrums busted by a squeaker sayin "you just got PWNED OmGWtFBBq" and again when you get them and yellin at you

so todays lesson is :stay away from big game multiplayer for about a month and a half that way the squeaker wave passes

Anything else sir?

I only had a 14 year old kid wishing cancer upon me through youtube once. I found out his email and through that i found out that he was posting on some other forum about how he secretly wanted to be born a girl, so I posted that everywhere.

Thought I'd share.

Ran into a few myself, but they're so fun. There is nothing funnier than making a young child rage on a video game.
I literally had a kid throw a tantrum one day because my friends and I kept picking on him, it was lawl-worthy.

I seem to only run into these youngin's on the new popular games, like MW2. I surprisingly have not run into ONE underaged kid on Halo:Reach yet.

I haven't heard a squeaky voice since I quit MW2 actually...

I mute everyone as fast as possible, but it is true.
They complain games cause violance, and all these bad things, but they dont inforce it one bit
I belive children shouldnt play 18 and older games, weather theyer parents purchase them or not. And i honestly think this should be enforced.
Im only 19, and i think this. Because its something that needs to be done before things really get out of hand.

I dont care that kids play games online, i dont care if theyer 12, 15, or 17. The problem is that theyer playing adult games, with adult themes.

I've had plenty of kids join the servers I'm playing on. Mostly PC games though, so that might be it. But most of them were fairly good at the game. And while their voice was annoying they weren't trying to be. And sometimes were fairly usefull.

I odnt actually own a 360, but my room mate and a few friends do (against the constant protests that we told him he should get a ps3 because now he cant play online with us.

But its was kinda funny because I was playing it one day and (being new to the who control pattern thing) i was kinda slow at MW2. But when i got on, some 13 y.o. that i guess prowls the "noob" tiers started trolling me and saying how bad i was and calling me racial slurs. so i handed the mic to my friend and when he got back (my friend was black, and i was getting alot of black racial slurs from someone with a southern accent about me being a lazy N and something or other), so as soon as my friend heard, he trolled the kid, then let the kid know that he was talking to a black kid and laughed. Guess the kid dropped a brick and started apologizing.

the XBL and the kids on htem are good reasons to me why i went sony.

The only little kid I've played with is on TF2, and he doesn't try to be annoying. I play with a very good clan, who realizes verbally assaulting a kid for being a kid is just plain pathetic.

I don't know, i think if the kid is able to "get" the adult themes, and understand that its fiction and would never ever happen in real life, and that they can understand its artistic value as well. Although that being said, im not sure if a lot of underage kids are willing to understand that or just try to pwn guys in multiplayer instead.

I've had a bunch of kids yell at me for even playing Halo, telling me to stop because I was a girl. Likewise, if they don't yell at me, I get conversations like this:

"Hey-hey girl."
"Yes?"
"Are you a lesbian?"
"No..."
"Then why are you playing Halo?"
"Because it's fun."
"Straight girls don't play games. You must be a lesbian"

I mute and no longer wear a headset so I don't have to deal with this, but I really wish I could without knowing I was going to be berated because I'm not a guy.

Thats one of the things though. You really cant determine whos ready and whos not to see groups of people get chainsaw'd in two, or the ability to run over hookers for money.

Its one of those things that cant really be determined. I grew up playing "M rated" games when i was a kid. But this was back when you could count the number of pixles on screen.

Laws have to change with the times. They have to catch up with today's tech. If you can see someone's guts fully exposed on screen, you should HAVE to be 18+ to see it. Because most children arnt ready for such a thing.

Its one of those all or nothing scenarios, because its impossible to have a middle ground.

I started play MW:2 again so yeah...

They don't even need guns, their voices are weapons. I just mute the entire lobby if I hear one voice that is abnormally loud, be it adult, teen, or squeaker. If they are loud, they will be obnoxious the entire game I can guarantee it.

A specific one that just happened was an older British guy and his younger friend. They were complaining that Thanksgiving is a stupid holiday and that Americans should stop celebrating it because no other countries do. We start arguing and they tell me "90% of Americans are fat, you shouldn't have holidays were you eat." I then laughed and asked were he got that "statistic" and he said the library.

2 more minutes of this and my friends eventually just overwhelmingly troll them to silence.
