The Sengoku Basara series... Maybe it would have higher sales and more overseas releases that way.

and I just thought of another unappreciated gem. CUBIVORE.

yeah, that should put that into perspective...
I actually remember hearing about this when it was announced in Japan when I still got Nintendo Power, but I have yet to see it in stores...ever. haha

OT: For me I would say Custom Robo for the Gamecube, P.N.03 for the Gamecube, The World Ends With You for the Nintendo DS, VVVVVV which you can get on Steam, Beat Hazard which you can also get on Steam, and La-Mulana, which is a free download (at least I think it still is) on the PC and there is a newer version on WiiWare.

Any game by Bungie besides Halo.

Marathon, Myth, Oni, Pathways Into Darkness. All of them innovative in their own right, but seldom talked about.

Terranigma, illusion of gaia itself, chrono trigger, Secret of mana and EVO are few of lots of unsung hereos.
All of these and also Dwarf Fortress, its a really good and addictive game if you take the time to understand it. I have played it for ages and I still haven't done everything that can be done in the game. I like to play it with a tileset but its perfectly understandable without.

Alundra was a pretty good and suprisingly dark game aswell.

Man, Chrono Trigger was pretty ridonkulously well known back in the day. That's like saying FF7 is undervalued.

Games that I loved in the PS1 era that I remember flying under a lot radars (at least among my group of pre-internet nerds) was:

Vagrant Story
Megaman Legends
Jade Cocoon
Might be well known but still needed more players to know it, same case as mega man legends and tron bone.

Lucky to have 1000 people online =\ 600 is average =\
This. Populations on Xbox are at least in the triple digits, the PC version which I picked up later for very cheap has an average of about 50 folks online.

Also: Deathrow for Xbox, such a great and very unique sports title

- Dawn of War I.
- Deep RPGs. Arcanum, Dragon Age I (NOT 2), Planescape: Torment, BG1/2. I think it would be good for the industry to get sent the message that these RPGs are worth developing over the shit that Dragon Age II was. I don't mind Mass Effects, but they are not RPGs really.

I wish people still played "the ship" on steam.
I loved it. An fps where you hunt down another player, making sure they don't suspect you're after them while someone else is hunting for you at the same time.
You could kill people with an umbrella while they bathe or go toilet! What's not to like!?
Sadly, not many people understood the rules and now no one plays :(

I don't really care what games people play, but Senko no Ronde and it's sequal really needed some foreign scene, it's sad I'll never get to play it in any real capacity due to this.

I wish at least one person I know in person played Terraria so I'd have an excuse to buy it, too!

Best sports game ever. Man that game was good.
If it had released about a year later when Xbox Live first started with online support, it would've been a smash hit. As it is, I still love throwing it in to play now and again.
