I've always wished they had made a 3rd 'No One Lives Forever' game. The 2nd game left a few loose ends that I wanted to see wrapped up. Plus the games had a great blend of action, stealth, and comedy. Yes, comedy. Mostly listening to NPC conversations before kicking in the door to kill them but also the hilarious intelligence you could find.
I'm with you on this one such a shame we have not gotten a new one.

I want another Jedi Knight. that game had so much jedi badassery. It was the only game that made me feel like a jedi than Jedi Knight 2.

Tecmo's Deception. The first game was terrible, completely unplayable. The other 3 games all had big downsides: terrible stories, horrid translation, awkward controls and a unresponsive and awkward camera...

But FUN.
Funny you should say that. According to Wikipedia, Deception IV: Blood Ties was released yesterday in the US and is set to come out in Europe on Friday for the PS3 and Vita.
Ehh... I've been a little underwhelmed. From what I've seen so far, all they did is retexture the previous game (the uncounted I guess) 4th installment called Trapt. I even recognize some of the rooms having the same configuration as they did in Trapt, but with a new story? I can wait, it's promoted so poorly and has such low recognition it will hit the bargain shelf soon enough. Then I'll see if it's a worthy successor, or just a revamped cash-in. It better be worth it, it's been a few years since my PS3 has been useful for anything other than ea nhl and madden with pals every so often.

For me it's Darksiders. I really enjoyed that series and was really looking forward to DS3 which was supposed to have 4 player co-op. Then THQ had to go and muck it all up by exploding.

The good news: the DS franchise was eventually bought up by someone.

The bad news: the company that picked it up has a habit of shopping its games to the lowest possible bidder (or so I've heard).

Not so say that a game has to have a massive budget in order to be good, I just really don't like the phrase "to the lowest possible bidder".

Jak and Daxter. It could have been so awesome to continue, at least in their universe, but it just ended with little else. It was my favorite naughty dog series; the gameplay was fun but the story was still interesting and well done, versus Crash which had fun gameplay but meh story, or Uncharted and LoU with just suitable gameplay.
