Deadly Premonition. End of thread.
No it isn't. Jeez, nothing personal but it really annoys me when someone says this, or '/thread'. How about a bit more info, as i for one have never heard of that game, and i'm interested in your opinion.

OT: eternal darkness. The bathtub scene, the volume bar, and the forerunner to VATS, that game impressed me and scared me in spades.

Katamari Damacy-If you wanted to buy a PS2, this is the reason why.

World of Goo-Fun, colorful, and, well, fun. One of the most well made games i've played.

Scott Pilgrim The game- Just so much fun. Can't describe it.

Machinarium-Graphically amazing, and some mindbending puzzles.

Mirror's Edge, it makes you feel like you're there doing those things. I wish some games would incorporate Mirror's Edge movement into sandbox exploration :(
We can only hope Brink does that successfully

OT: I had have to say Alan Wake simply because, the story is great. As well as the gameplay especially the dlc gameplay.

Played through that game so many times, to get the best endings and such, it seems a lot of games got missed because they were on the gamecube.
