OT : That the Saboteur is a damn fun game.
Battlefield 3 is COD just with c4(Which makes it about 200% more awesome, watch anything by birgipall)
Crysis 2 was fun.... and looked better than Crysis 1(Don't stone me, plz)
Final Fantasy XII was fun and epic and the combat system was good.

Lol I did not plan that out :O but the hats in TF2 are still the most expensive parts of it. It's also about 75% of what Valve works on. It's paying $7.50 of real money for 1 thing that doesn't do anything, usually cosmetic DLC is released in packs for $5 so you feel you aren't completely wasting money on it.

My personal ones:

Limbo had all the emotional depth and enjoyability of emo kid poetry. The spider wasn't scary and quickly became a joke.

System Shock 2 was NOT a good game. It had a stupid and illogical plot, word-vomited laundry lists and infodumps at you, SHODAN was annoying, and one braindead design choice allowed you to make the game unwinnable unless you specifically ignored the first order given to you.

Yahtzee's comparing Doom to Painkiller shows he didn't understand exactly what made Doom so good (and what makes Painkiller lousy).

- The original Mass Effect was the weakest in the series
- Mass Effect 2 was brilliant, and the best in the series
- Dragon Age 2 was mechanically better than Origins
- I don't have a problem with Origin
- I don't have a problem with Games for Windows LIVE
- Half-Life 1/2 isn't anything special
- EA aren't as evil as people say they are
- I don't have a problem with DRM
- Battlefield 3 was HORRIBLE
- Dawn of War is better than Dawn of War 2
- I don't have a problem with Day-1 DLC
- The Xbox has more enjoyable exclusives than the PS3
- £40 / $60 per year for Xbox LIVE isn't expensive
- LIMBO isn't amazing
- Halo 3: ODST was a great game
- Halo Wars is the best RTS on a console, and deserves to be regarded as a Halo game
- Call of Duty campaigns are enjoyable
- The mouse/keyboard is only better for shooters and first person perspective games
- Console graphics are fine

-I don't mind day one DLC, provided that it is something extra rather than something necessary to enjoy the game fully.

-When, by fluking a code from a second-hand copy of the game, I played the "From Ashes" DLC for Mass Effect 3 I felt that it wasn't so game-changing as to be heinous.

-I liked the Mass Effect 3 ending.

-I rather like cover-based 3PS.

-I think Miranda is an interesting character.

-They should make a 16-bit game and put it on a disc the size of a normal console game. It would have every mechanic ever and be 500 hours long with 42 endings. The art time would have enough time to make every single NPC in the game unique in appearance and walk slightly differently.

-I don't mind lots of similarly themed games (for instance, zombies), provided there's enough variation to keep things mildly entertaining.


I realise now that most of these are about ME3. I guess I have it on the brain.

Bioshock is an alright game with no massive flaws but i dont see whats so great about it

I dont mind that there are 500-600 pokemon, but I wished they stopped at gold/silver

Tenchu 1 is the best stealth game ever made

Spiderman web of shadows is still the best spiderman game which is kinda sad when you think about it

Virtua fighter is more enjoyable, indepth, and balanced then street fighter

Capcom have never made a terrible game, niether have bioware

The Tales Series>>>> Final Fantasy Series (overall)

Final Fantasy VII is still one of the best games ever made

Mario Kart went downhill after the DS one

GTA IV was a realistic masterpiece(along with the DLC episodes)

Half Life wasnt bad at all, but is very overrated

Mass effect isnt without its problems, but it is the greatest trilogy ever made

Minecraft is retarded

god of war is a very well presented game with a retard friendly 3-4 hit combo system

the dead or alive volleyball games are actually a lot of fun if you give them a chance

Sonic sucks now, and he wasnt even that great to begin with

everything good about resi 5 was highjacked from 4

F-Zero GX is the best racing game

Vigilante 8 was better than twisted metal

that digimon world game with the pooping was interesting, but stupid and broken

skyrim is fun, but too damn easy

mortal kombat has the most interesting fighting game roster

soul calibur 2 was the last good one

LA noire got really annoying quickly

every single dynasty warriors game sucked equally as bad as the one before it, there are no 'exceptions'

resonance of fate/end of enternity is the best RPG on the 360 followed closely by Lost odessy

I think the Mass Effect games are boring as sin
Metal Gear Solid 2 was fantastic
Skyrim sucked (although thats coming from a PS3 experience)
Dante's Inferno has left a better impression on me than God of War
Final Fantasy VIII is the best in the series
Final Fantasy IX is one of the worst

and last but not least:

I despise Steam and what it stands for!
