-Story is more important than gameplay
-Violent games are a concern and should be investigated, mainly because I feel it says something disturbing about our society.
-Most games are incredibly badly written.
-Fallout 3 was a bad game.
-Shooters are dull.
-Fun should not be the ultimate aim in game design.
-Mass Effect was a boring series
-All the Grand Theft Auto games suck
-Graphic improvement should have halted back in 2004.
-Multiplayer has been overall detrimental to the medium as an artform.

-I thought Crysis 2 was more fun then the first one.
-Operation: Raccoon City, Lost Planet 2, and Dante's Inferno were all really fun games.
-Mass Effect 3 had a lot more problems with it then just the ending that made it disappointing.
-I liked Sonic Unleashed while I think Sonic Rush was boring as crap.
-The base Half-Life 2 wasn't that great, the episodes were much better.
-Uncharted is a shit series

That Half-Life 2 has a shitty story, as well as the following episodes.
Portal 2 was not great.
Halo is a rather decent series, and has yet to be ran into the ground.
That the prequel Star Wars movies were good, and I like Jarjar. (Relevant, they made games of the movies).
I had not one large issue with the ending for Mass Effect 3.

This likely to get me lynched here but I didn't like Portal 2 that much, it felt lacking to me compared to the first one. I also don't think Half Life (any of them) is the holy grail of gaming, it's aged badly.

- I disagree when everyone says that MW3 (Or call of duty franchise overall) sucks, as I defend that every game has it's place on the gaming spectrum
- I enjoyed playing Duke Nukem: Forever
- The only FF that I've tolerated was X
- I love the Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodline, and I would buy another game from that series even if it was 100 bucks, I don't mind the bugs that it has.
- Path of Neo (The matrix) was a very good game
- I make myself to play Nes and Snes (That entire generation of gaming) but I always end up with a bad taste in my mouth and looking at the clock as I find most of the "glorious" games boring (metroid, mario, zelda...)
- I do believe honestly that PCs way better than Consoles
- I found most people on a flammewar completely mentally challenged, since it seems that you don't have the right to have an opinion that's not theirs.
- Sometimes I enjoy to play The Sims 3
- Mass Effect 2 / 3 was boring and I've only played trough it to see the story unfold
- Portal is just... meh...
- Bioshock it is average, the only part of brilliance that the game has it's the very beginning of it. And Bioshock 2 was one of the worst things I ever played.
- I think that the Mount&Blade: Warband is a pretty awesome game.
- I do believe that there's actually something to learn about the people that are playing the game when they play the so called "controversial" parts on the MW series, and the one on the airport I honestly believe that it's a brilliant idea... To see if one falls for the pressure and presses the trigger.
- Half life 1 and 2 are average games
- I don't believe that Valve does good games
- I like the interactive story-telling games (heavy rain, Fahrenheit) and I do believe that we need more of them

Haven't seen this topic in a while, so I might as well post.

-Fallout 3 was absolute crap. It was just Oblivion with everything that made Oblivion interesting taken out. Just wonky controls and brown rubble.

-Mass Effect is brain-numbingly dull and the characters are boring as shit.

-Limbo is boring and frustrating. You just die a lot in monochrome. It's not really very atmospheric.

-Valve isn't the infallible messiah of gaming and people need to stop riding Gabe Newell's dick. They do sometimes fuck up. Left 4 Dead is also a pretty stupid and simple game.

-MLP is okay and Bronies aren't necessarily annoying. I have no strong feelings either way on the topic.

-Navi isn't annoying and I quite like her.

-Tingle is a fucking boss.

-Final Fantasy games are still good compared to some crappy RPGs out there.

-Dragon Age 2 was not bad at all! And I loved Origins, mind you.

-I think Half Life and Team Fortress are confusing, annoying, dumb and boring as shit.
-Although I dislike some companies for whatever reasons (Capcom, EA, etc.), I'm not gonna pretend I'm never gonna buy their games again. If the game is good, I'll buy it. See: Dragon Age.
-Pre-orders are good in some cases. Free DLC stuff? I'll take it. Hell, I was gonna buy the game anyway.
-I hate it when people ***** about trading games at Gamestop. It sucks balls, yes, but they're a company and they gotta make a profit. Don't like it? Just don't sell your shit there. No one is forcing your hand. But of course, they still come to the interwebs to whine and complain about it as if it made a difference.
-GTA for PS2? Good! GTA for PS3? Bad.
-PC gaming is not the best. It has its pros and cons like every other console. Stop acting like pretentious bastards.
-Also, enough with console elitism! We're all gamers; can we just leave it at that?
-FF7 is one of the worst FF games out there.
-"Hardcore" gamers need to go back and play some old school games if they do consider themselves hardcore. In other words, they need to stop worrying about killing others for fun, graphics, gratuitous violence, competitive gameplay, playing online, etc.
-Also, not every single game needs to have a co-op online feature. We're used to it now but hey, my SNES games were just as fun offline. In fact, I've been playing offline for over 15 years and I'm still here.

-PC's are inherently better platforms for any type of gaming, regardless of the silly console vs. pc debate. There really is no contest. I have all consoles and a powerful desktop. I speak from experience.

Agreed. Also, I goddamn loathe shitty console ports. Pro-tip: PC-gamers have this nifty thing called a "Mouse". They can just point at something, click and use it. Why do so few console ports use this function..?

- Space Marine isn't all that bad and the multiplayer is really fun.
- I still really like Bioware.
- Dragon Age 2 was a good game.
- I don't hate EA with a burning passion.
- I really enjoyed Diablo 3.
- I'm not very excited about GW2 and don't see it as anything special, at all.
- Mass Effect 3's ending was alright.
- Valve is very far down on my list of most beloved developers.
- I feel no hype what so ever for any Half life game beyond 1. I grew up with the original half life, so I really liked that one.
- I don't judge Funcom because of AoC, and think they did a good job with TSW.
- I still look forward to new generations of pokemon.
- I'm hyped about Mists of Pandaria (Not sure if this is unusual or not)

Uh...Damn. And finally. I prefer subscribtion MMO's over free to play ones. Woo.

-I don't like JRPGs because of the boring turn-based-combat
-I tried Skyrim, was bored and confused and didn't enjoy the small amount I played
-Fallout 3 is my favourite RPG, and it was better than New Vegas (although I haven't played NV's DLC)
-I don't normally give a shit about multiplayer except for co-op, CSS/TF2, Killzone 3 or Duels of the Planeswalkers
-I think that making a game set in a reailstic now is totally bonkers and against the idea of making an 'experience'
-I'm not angry at SEGA for any bad Sonic game...just disappointed (seriously, Sonic 06 could've been a nextgen Sonic Adventure). Furthermore every Sonic game has an awesome soundtrack, and Shadow the Hedgehog was actually a pretty good game.
-Nintendo are fucking retarded and the shit they get away with is unbelievable (Skyward Sword E3 demo bimg fucky being blamed on phone interference; no charger with the 3DS XL; releasing the same fucking game, literally in regards to Super Mario Galaxy 2)
-Despite being the only Zelda game I've properly played and having not completed it yet, I believe that Wind Waker is brilliant and I shouldn't have to play any other Zelda game, especially not Ocarina of-fucking-Time
-One of the greatest series' of all time is the Ratchet & Clank series (apart from All4One)
-Windows Phone is the best phone platform
-The Vita is better than the 3DS
-Brawl got boring after a while
-Halo: ODST is my favourite Halo game, followed by Reach then 2. Halo 1 has not aged very well.
-I think CoD is a blight, although I'm open to being impressed by codblopstwo but I'm not holding out on anything
-I think Insomniac Games don't get as much credit as they should, as they're not that popular it seems.
-I don't mind God of War, I don't mind it having a multiplayer as such and I'm obviously a Sony fanboy, but even I think that we've had enough
-Despite not playing certain games, I tend to research and learn about them anyway. Hence why I know a lot about Resident Evil, for example.
-On that note, I don't really like the Resident Evil games that much (although I want to play Resi 4 if I can have Resi 5 control), although my favourite is still the Deck Building Game
-As much as I like Valve, the Left 4 Dead games are pretty boring for me now

-The greatest multiplayer experience EVER is Magic: the Gathering, as in the card game

Call of Duty is a ton of fun and a great game. Battlefield is boring as hell. Diablo 2 is boring and doesn't draw me in at all. WoW is an awful, overrated game. Dragon Age Origins is also boring as hell.

I guess I'd add a few more.

-I thought the "Kingdom Hearts" handheld titles were necessary. Yeah, I want "Kingdom Hearts III" as much as the next fan, but the fact that they're there shows how much thought Nomura put into this series. I played KHII without knowing "Chain of Memories," but I wasn't lost. If KHIII puts in the recap that 3D put in, I think it might work for new players.

-On the subject of Tetsuya Nomura, his character designs aren't that bad. Everyone makes it seem like all of his characters have more zippers and belts than necessary. What about Yoshitaka Amano? A lot of his character designs have men with beads in their hair and lipstick. Hell, for the people that say Nomura designs girlier men, have they ever looked at Amano's character designs?

-Video games CAN be adapted into film if done right. The first "Mortal Kombat" movie, while not perfect, was still one of the better VG movies. If Eddie LeBraun's "Mega Man" movie had the budget of a Michael Bay or James Cameron movie, it would have been mind-numbingly awesome. Don't get me wrong: it's good on it's own, and I'm not usually a style/substance guy, but it really showed that it was a fan-film.

-I thought "My Hands" was better than "Kimi ga Iru Kara."

-I loved all the "Crash Bandicoot" games, even the newer ones.

-Not all licensed games suck.

-I stopped liking the mass effect series at no.2 It's incredibly boring and I don't care about the majority of the characters, plus the plot makes no sense.

-Tali is one of my most disliked characters of the mass effect series.

-The ending of ME3 didn't ruin the game, the part that came before it had plenty of problems.

-I DO think that Dragon Age 2 is incredibly bad. Only one finished playthrough to date, and three attempted playthroughs where I stopped.
