I find league of legends shallow and the game imbalanced due to how it's mechanics interact with each other. Definitely a minority here... @_@

Bioshock: Couldn't stand it. I can't remember exactly why the controls felt off, only that that was what made me give up on it.

Mass Effect: Again, gave up on this series at the first hurdle. Nonsense inventory system, AI that was literally thicker than a plank of wood and worst of all those bastard elevators.

Bonus - Half Life: Seeing as current popular opinion appears to be that Half-Life/Valve is overrated or plain bad, I'm going to say that I have never had a problem with any Valve game ever and I particularly enjoy Half Life 2.

All opinion of course...
Mass Effect was the only good game in the series (even though I only played a few hours of two, which was garbage).

Metal Gear Solid 4 was a gigantic slice of suck, and it was still better than the original.

Assassin's Creed is a terrible game series, outside of its concept.

The PC is dying because of the community associated with it.

Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, and Metroidvania games are insanely overrated.

I would rather be stuck in a room of 30 CoD kids than a room with three "competitive" Street Fighter clowns.

Games like SC2, HoN, and LoL are more damaging to the industry than Call of Duty and Halo ever could be.

Morrowind isn't the best ES game.

If I could stop one developer from making games, it would be Miyamoto. Not because I hate Nintendo, but because Nintendo needs things he's not providing anymore.

If you dislike the work of some women in the game industry and comment, you can easily be labeled a misogynist.

Wearing clothes associated with video games is okay, but don't be surprised if you're stigmatized for it.

Video games and the issues involving video games are beyond simple, but for a variety of reasons, people pretend to make video games an insanely complicated and diverse topic.

I think that's good.

Sorry about the last few opinions, they're a bit off topic, but I've been out of the US for a bit and haven't had a chance to get these things off my chest.

Yeah count me in for the 'GTA IV was crap' crowd.

All use of Ironsights need to die in a fire.

Shooters can work great on consoles. Not better than PC, just... different.

BF 1942 was the only true Battlefield masterpiece.

That Timesplitters currently sits on the throne of all time greatest console shooter series.

Portal series and TF2 are both overrated.

Valve is overrated.

AC1 is the best of the of the AC series. (Haven't played the 3 yet, but it would surprise me if was better.)

Let me think:
Mother 3>Earthbound.
Mirrors Edge is the best looking and most enjoyable game this generation (Not the best overall mind).
Resident Evil: Outbreak= one of the best Resident Evil games (just behind 4).
If the Tony Hawks games stopped at American Wasteland it would probably be my favourite game series ever.
Sweet Home is one of the best nes games (along with ninja gaiden and SMB3).
SMB3 is quite literally perfect.
Limbo and Braid are overrated, still good though.
COD is a good series.
Fallout 3>Fallout 1 and 2 (mainly due to my modding experience).
Half life 1>2.
Scoring systems for reviews are useful.

I know some aren't that unpopular and I could do loads about the industry but I would be here forever.

Unpopular? Let's see.

Final Fantasy X was last good game in the series.
Final Fantasy VIII is terrible. Hated almost everything about it.
Dragon Age: Origins is nothing exceptional. DA2 is a joke.
Mass Effect 2 is best game in the series.
Last Remnant is single worst game I bought on Steam.
Steam > all. Maybe except GOG.
Kingdom Hearts series ended after KH2. Also I loved KH and KH2.
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver is best LoK game.
Witcher 2 and Mass Effect 2 are best RPGs that came out in last years.
Skyrim while good is shallow as a puddle.
Instead of SWToR Bioware should have made proper KotOR3.
Torchlight 2 > Diablo 3.

I like Wii.

It's a pretty common opinion that TOR sucks

Torchlight 2 > Diablo 3.
Most people would also agree with this simply by default because of how bad D3 was.

Oh boy, prepare yourself keyboard:

The PC is not God-tier.
Morrowind is the worst Elder Scrolls game that I have played.
Portal 1 was good but not perfect.
Duke Nukem Forever was not the worst thing to grace God's green Earth.
Bioshock had a great story, that does not make it a great game.
If your considering pirating it for any reason other than to see if your PC can run it, you should pay for it.
The controller is a better way to play most games.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is shockingly bad.
Braid is a piece of artsy-fartsy junk that would be good if it didn't shove symbolism down my throat every two minutes.
Half-Life 1 is overrated.
Episode three can wait, Valve are making good games as it is.
EA, Activision and other such publishers are not not the source of all evil.

And that's about it for now.

Spec Ops: The Line totally underwhelmed me, I bought it solely to experience what everyone was saying about it and it just frustrated me that I was forced to do things then told I was a monster because of it. The prime example of this was the..
Infamous white phosphorous scene. I saw that those people were clearly not soldiers and tried to not kill them, but as I had killed all the soldiers and nothing else was happening until I killed the civilians I had to just to continue.

Red Dead Redemption is extremely overrated.

The game is ok but it has a load of flaws which make its crap meter rocket upwards.

I enjoyed mass effect 3, maybe more then mass effect 1. The only reason being I felt that mass effect 3, while average gameplay wise and not brilliant story wise, had the best character moments of the whole franchise. Also the ending doesn't bother me that much. I use the same logic as I do when I think about human mortality. It's fun while it lasted.
I'm going through my first playthrough of ME3 and I can't agree more about the character moments. I also really loved the set pieces I've seen so far (Thrasher Maw Matron vs Reaper: give me more please!). I know how it ends and don't really mind the endings: the game itself is solid.

also - Garrus and Joker swapping race-jokes was Awesome

Also-Also - I LOVED PILOTING THE MAKO IN MASS EFFECT 1

No because I like Wii as well. I need to build up my library though...and get the Wii-mo/ Nunchuck combo to go with my U. Zack & Wiki is probably my favorite Wii game at the moment.

I would agree with this but I haven't played AC2 part 2 or AC2 part 3 OR AC3, just 1 and 2. I loved how Altair could just walk around stabbing everyone until the guards realize that people keep dying around you then you stab THEM and it's like nothing ever happened. AC2: 3 innocents killed and you're desynchronize. Seriously, what is it with that game series and NOT stabbing people?!

---

I really liked Silent Hill 4. It's scarier than 2.

I think that Bioshock 2 was just as good as, or even better than the original. A lot of people seem to think otherwise. In my opinion, the sequel has much better gameplay, and I enjoyed the story almost as much as in the first game. In my book gameplay is by far the most important.

-HL 2 is overrated like sex on a beach (when you'll have sand EVERYwhere afterwards... was worth doing once, but i digress xD )

-i really really liked the ME3 ending

-being artsy-fartsy AND preachy or oh-so sociocritical AND basically removing gameplay does not make a good (indie) game. also, indie is a totally worn out and mis-used adjective (like alternative in music... argh!)

-if an AAA publisher makes a fun game available i'll buy it, even if there are the two evil letters "EA" in a corner on the box

-devs should NOT listen to the loudest part of the player base because it'll lead to a game being totally fucked up (for refernce, see the development of any (once) big(ish) MMO)

-effing press-x-to-hug-wall shooters need to die. now. i can hide myself quite well without hug-buttons, thank you
