*Spoiler*

I didn't play much of this game, but I got far enough to figure out that Totori was trained by Rorona...we should be thankful her explosions cause no damage. Her intellect must be less than most scholarship athletes. As George Carlin said, "dumber than a second coat of paint."

Say what you will, but I would love to have a high-class suit of armor consisting of a thong and two band-aids for a guy. The Borat thong would work too.
I'm not saying it'd be BAD, just that he would die horribly.

Which would be bad, but for different reasons.

Just like the Borat thong wouldn't be bad, so long as it was not borat in it. That just makes me want to bleach my eyes. And brain. Actually, I might need a deep-bleach scrub just from the thought.

But this:

will never be body armour for guys.

Well, never say never, but as long as the primary market is teenage boys....

"Wait, did she just pull a 'You're breaking up, I'm going into a tunnel' in person?" Had me laughing really hard lol. This was a great episode, I've missed you guys...I'm not sure why I stopped watching, lol.

And... why is it the sister who has to clean up the mess? Exactly why can't the person who creates the explosion clean it up? Note, her sister doesn't even threaten to make her clean up herself, she just wants her to sit down on the floor. WTF? Why is that so horrible that she decides to run off?

Funny episode again. I have to admit, JRPGs make great Unskippable fodder.

The dub is terrible, but the game doesn't look too bad, that reminds me, I should finish Atelier Rorona.

That's the fastest I've seen anyone get a trophy.
Great episode! Laughed a lot.
Did anyone else get a Dark Void flashback because of the in-Unskippable trophy?
If nothing else, it shows that Graham and Paul got it on the first take. They're professionals. :)

I am the almighty Laundros! Bow before me, puny humans!

... You dare defy me?! You shall now pay! ... because, you know, laundromat and all. Pay to wash clothes

... What's this? You only have 500 *insert in-game monetary unit here*! That won't be enough for a moment of rinsing! Now we fight!

Still easily the best console game this year. I definitely enjoyed it more than skyrim. Granted, you if you have a fetish for manly men, this game isn't for you.

But I definitely enjoyed a low-key experience, without the save the world nonsense. No, there's no empire in the game. :) You don't even need to do many fights if you don't want to.

I'm sure it's cultural prejudice but 'that guy kidnapped my girlfriend, I'ma go kick his ass and the ass of anyone else who stands in my way!' still makes infinitely more sense to me than 'I'm the worst alchemist (chemist?) in the world and I probably just died of smoke inhalation but magically didn't. Let's go kill monsters, mandatory dude in town who thinks killing monsters is the best!'
Definitely prejudice. As a girl, I find the "lol, girls need to be saved, lolol" plots to be boring, whereas something like this makes much more sense. You know, killing monsters in this context simply means hunting a few large squirrels. ;)

I find it odd that killing monsters is totally ok when a male hero in a green outfit does it while being a child, but the moment a female one wants to(or gets bugged to), it's weiiiirrrrdddd. Shows how far the gaming community still has to go.

Seriously. Nobody whines about this in Zelda. People only complain about this when the heroine is female, and I really don't think this is okay at all.

Exactly, everything in JRPGs involves fighting monsters.
Everything... that is, except maybe knowing you're gonna fight monsters.
As paradoxical as that may be, here's some evidence (starting at 1:07):
So there you have it. In JRPGs you WILL fight monsters UNLESS you KNOW you're gonna fight monsters.

Right?

Wow that guy seemed unusually genre savvy. How rude of the compulsory boss monster not to show up.

I don't think it is a bias against women, so much as it is a bias against JRPGs.
