Could someone please help me?

Did anyone notice that the background music for the fighting sounded like something out of Crash Bandicoot?

Or, well, that's what it sounded like to me.

I don't know... I love the Devil May Cry series but the cinematics in Bayonetta are just... plain goofy, and that music. Should I buy it?

Am I playing too much Mass Effect or do the angels look just like Geth?

"If the plot didnt go anywhere in six minutes, it wasnt about to go anywhere now"

That looks like a truly awful game.

Perfect for Unskippable then! :D

Did you know how many references there were in that cutscene?

They even referenced "Godhand". Hard to catch that one, though.

And you don't see him after Chapter 1 of the game.

And I love that fucking music.
You've got to be kidding me!
There are times like this when I wish I had console games, too.

Ok, Fatty Ganster Douchebag Enzo has kids? How'd he get a wife with such rubbish looks and a crappy attitude.....he's either rich or very persuasive.

I'm never gonna play this game but it's rather hilarious to see part of the opening cutscene.

Am I overly optimistic for assuming all of that starts making sense later in the game?
It does. Want me to explain it now?
Sure. I won't be playing the game, so feel free to spoil it for me.
Okay, Enzo turns invisible because Bayonetta went through a dimensional portal. There are three dimensions, and they can "interact" in limited ways because the force separating them is weakening. And Bayonetta can see into other dimension because of she's an Umbra Witch. One of the last 2 in the world. She kills servants from the dimension of Paradiso (not actually much of a Paradise) for a living or something while search for answers about her past after waking up at the bottom of a lake 20 years ago with little memory. Rodin (Black Terminator) runs a bar in Inferno, another dimension. And Bayonetta's magic is mostly based off of her hair, and she was disguised as a nun to lure them out. How and why are never alluded to.

Watch this really quick for some funny references to other games, like Halo and Resident Evil 4.

For more details see my review. I need to do another, but haven't beaten a game since...

Heh, excellent work as usual. I loved the Simpsons reference, the part about domino headstones, and that bit at the very end .

Wait, was this the INTRO?

Wonderful.

I have no fucking idea what anything is about, who the guys are, why there are angels and.. well, a anything.

Bad intro that, baaaad...

Wasn't the point of an intro to summarize what'll happen etc. in max. 90 seconds?
They did. Within 90 seconds of that video you'll be kicking lots and lots of angelic ass.

Amazingly, that still doesn't help me make a whole lot of sense out of the intro video...

I should just stick to "bad guys are over there - shoot them to win" kinda games. :p

Oh man, you guys cut out right before my favorite part. This game helped hammer the nail of a song that "Fly me to the Moon" is after NGE stuck into my skull.

"Wooah, are we allowed to keep watching this?"

Hah, great stuff as always. Although the bubblegum disasters in Bullet Witch were more impressive than anything Bayonetta can throw at us.
