The voiceover guys aren't as funny as they think they are. The in-game cinematics are funny enough without anyone else's contribution.
Leave it to a bunch of drugged up meathead jocks to have all the work done by their superior. I haven't played Haze because I don't own a PS3 but it seems that the marines in the Halo series pull their weight moreso than the soldiers shown in the opening cutscene here.

The haze miltary clearly take a page out of the Warhammer 40k book, where your most important members shouldnt wear any form of protective headgear.
Also does your character ever hook up with Deidrich Bader, as he was clearly comming on to you at the start.
