You guys make me laugh every week.

Next time we'll put more armor on the vulnerable brain bit...

"Oh I love lime jello"

Oh man, I had to pause the video because I was laughing so much.

EDIT: And again with the Darkness reference. I love this series.

I gotta say, that was one of the best so far. Only second to Dead rising :)
You always provide with plenty of laughter.

I've seen this a couple of times and I really don't find it that funny.

Also, I'm sure it's been pointed out but the bit at 1:45 about us not being cool enough to play the game is such a blatent rip from ZP that I half think it's meant to look obvious.

Every now and again this series has some golden moments, but they are too few and far between. Overall I find it an okay idea done to an entirely average standard. To be honest I just expect better on The Escapist.

I had no idea Jean Reno was in this game. I think I might pick up a copy. xD

Good fun. Keep up the hilarious work.

Yes, it was, in fact, a reference to the Devil May Cry 3 episode of ZP. Thanks.

Fun Fact: Paul and I probably watch 5 times as many terrible opening scenes as we can actually use.
I don't actually know if you can call all of the cutscene's you've covered "terrible" (excluding the Two Worlds one, cause that cutscene was horrid, which mande the jokes all the more appropriate). For the most part, they're all well done, with excellent animation, moderate action (in the games where action fits), at the very least, decent voice acting, etc.

Are they taking themselves way too seriously, though? Oh hell yes, I agree with you on that. I also agree that they often feel somewhat out of place in a game, seeing as a game is supposed to be played. Even considering that, though, I must still respectfully disagree with your statement of "Terrible opening scenes," well, at least mostly.

How many times are these guys going to bring me to tears of joy with their wonderful quotations?

Bravo for the Fallout 3 reference!
