Funny, I was drinking tea and almost spat it all over my laptopIcehearted said:Yeah, good stuff, the the creaking one almost made me spit my coke. I should know better than to watch these with a mouthful of anything.Anchupom said:Laughed a lot at the door creaking joke, and the mattel one. And the magic 8 ball one.
Though not in that order, unsuprisingly.
I dunno. Seymour (Skinner) is kind of fitting with the slightly camp theme of Final Fantasy. Lloyd is... as you say, not even trying. Like having your villain called Jim or Steve or Barry.Firia said:In FF10, I felt that way about Seymour. That is just not the name you use to set someone up as an antagonist early in a game. That name makes people laugh. I haven't played, but lets say that Lloyd doesn't stay an antagonist. He pulls a Magus ala Chrono Trigger (even the reference is to cool for this games cinematic); then the writer needs an ambiguous name. One that could go either way.EchetusXe said:Lloyd is the name they went with? Lord Sauron, Anton Chigurh, Lloyd Irving.
I mean in the name of... Lloyd.
Names are hard. But Lloyd isn't even trying. Like Seymour.
Same thing happens to me and the coffee is sprayed all over my computer so I don't drink or eat while I watch Escapist videos.Stammer said:Several times throughout the episode you made me spit cereal out of my mouth because I couldn't hold in the laughter. I had a mouth full of coffee when you made the door-creaking joke, and I lost it there too. Thanks a lot, Unskippable! >_>
Or Smith. You could never have a good villain named Sm-oh..wait..EchetusXe said:I dunno. Seymour (Skinner) is kind of fitting with the slightly camp theme of Final Fantasy. Lloyd is... as you say, not even trying. Like having your villain called Jim or Steve or Barry.
