Soooo Watchdogs will be on WiiU. which means it can run on WiiU hardware. which means its not going to be even half of what is advertised. which means the only game i was waiting for can be scrached off the list.
Sigh.
1.) Watch_Dogs is also being released on the PS3 and Xbox 360. If anything is going to keep it from being "even half of what is advertised", it would be that reason.
2.) You seem to be under the impression that the Wii U has weaker hardware that the 360 and PS3. That is absolutely false. Multiple Devs have said that the Wii U easily surpasses the PS3 and 360. Its the Xbone and PS4 that its going to have trouble keeping up with.
3.) Bitching about a game being released on a console you don't like is childish.
You are correct, the limiting factor may very well be PS3 or Xbox360, and i may have underestimated WiiU then. The hardware speed of those consoles are.... different. Both of them have powerful processors for their time (and PS3 theoretically has faster CPU than modern i7, but noone has ever tapped its full potential because cell structure is hell) everythign else in there is abysmal. WiiU surpasses the two because it is much easier to develop for it, Nintendo has learnt that lesson with Wii and it looks like the other two also learn it and went to standart PC infrastructure.
Im sorry that i believed what developers told me its going to be like before figuring out its going to run on hardware that are incapable of such action, i guess i am childish.

In that case, since the game is also out for the 360 and PS3, you should be bitching about that instead of bitching about how it's on the Wii U, since the Wii U is in fact more powerful than both of those consoles (and thus, is NOT the weakest link in Watch_Dogs' roster).
This is fair, i was unaware it was coming out for eggsbox 360.
A properly designed piece of motion control hardware would have made this game work fine.
That is where we will have to disagree. Motion control does not fit this style of gaming and even 100% precise motino controls would not make games of this type work well.
Most of the people who enjoy the game don't enjoy it for its graphics. 90%+ of the reviews praise either its strong story, well designed controls, or some other aspect of the game that isn't just focusing on the graphics. The game is certainly pretty but the hardware had shit little to do with creating what people enjoy about Far Cry 3. All the hardware did was make it prettier.
Never once in that paragraph you quote i mentioned graphics, and yet you somehow decided that i thought that more processing power means only more graphical capabilities. in fact i gave multiple examples where more power was necessary without changing the graphics at all that you completely ignored.
So, yes, I reject your ridiculous claim that Watch_Dogs being on the Wii U is somehow creating a "limitation" to the game. Especially since the only core argument you can make (that it means less resources are available on the hardware front) has more to do with the fact that the game is also a 360/PS3 title than the fact that it's on the Wii U. You literally cannot make this argument without explaining why you're okay with the game being on the PS3 and 360. And even if you manage to make that case without being a hypocrite (which I doubt), it's still ridiculous to ***** about your perception of a possible "limitation" to a game that isn't even out yet. Judging a game long before it's released purely based on the hardware it'll be available on is just absurd.
I never said i was okay with it being on the Ps3 and 360, they are as much a limitation as WiiU.

It's surviving fine, it's not doing as bad as the Escapist reporters want to make it sound.
Having less sales in a year than new consoles doing in a month and bringing a loss to Nintendo is not surviving fine.

So what you're saying is that Call of Duty games on PS3 and Xbox are the same as on the wii? Sure.
No, the differences are few and hardly major features [http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Differences_of_Call_of_Duty_games_on_the_Wii]. Mostly content being cut out. Most of them graphical differences and not any feature features that game could need processing time for.
