What will this mean commercially? Meaning people wanting to create the perfect woman/man(Refrence to Stepford Wives) Or possibly even Furries, Lizard-Men, Or even beings that aren't bipedal.

I could easily see humanity ruining this discovery with it's perversion.


Another thought to go along with that is: What about organicly grown workers and what will it mean for the job market? I mean machines already started replacing jobs in this area. But most of them are to large to move around, occasionally have glitches and errors. What if they could be replaced by a being that requires no pay, accepts poor treatment. With it's only existence to do it's specific task. (Incidentally that sounds like the opening script of a movie... Hmmm.)

We shouldnt mess with stuff like this. We never handle great power right. What happened when we got nukes? cold war. what happened when we found how to contain pousinous gas? mustard gas, nerve gas, all sort of terror weapons. what happens when we find out about rockets. why a nuclear weapons system of course. I garuntee that the first thing that will happen is that someone will bioenginner a human and then say "these arent actualy humans they are inferior to us. There only use will be as slaves. no i do not realise that im replacing blacks with fake humans." they will be treated as either slaves or cannon fodder. Then people will seek ways to "improve" humans. For democracies, this means taking babies and painlessly mutating them for immunity to diseases, less pain, maybe if its a rather screwy democracy, body parts to help with farming, better thinking abiliteis.

For Dictators this means taking people and painfully changing their skin to be more heavily armored, or to be faster, and you can bet that they will unleash a super human army. Then eventually the majority will become "improved in some way" and the Normals will become inferior. Thus Normals shoudnt have the right actualy people have.
