Uprising - A Pokemon RP

"It's okay, Bob. Anyway, I'm pretty sure we're all headed to Goldenrod. Well, all except Eric, whose headed back to Azealea."

Gerald puased for a moment as his brain actually processed what Eric was planning." Eric, don't you think the Center at Azealea is going to be full enough as it is?"

"I don't want to be useless when we're out in the forest. Besides, what if there is a Pokemon I want to catch?" he said, tossing Jenna's Pokeball in the air. He caught it and began sprinting back to town.

"Don't walk too fast guys, I'll be right there!"

I owe it to my Pokemon to get them healed up. I hope the line isn't too long, I really don't want to linger here anymore.

 

[Vesuvius Hetlan]

Alex sat down with his pokemon "Don't worry, Eric, If anything I'll wait for you."

He saw out of the corner of his eye a red blur. He turned to get a better look "What the he-" A red dragonfly pokemon bolted right in front of his eyes. Alex screamed and crawled back. The Yanma followed him at an accelerating pace. Alex panicked and whipped Rhodes' pokeball out. "R-Rhodes! Take it down with supersonic!!!" The Blue bat pokemon shot out of the pokeball and fired off a supersonic at the Dragonfly who in turn easily dodged it and got face to face with Alex once more, causing him to let out another girlish scream and swatted ineffectually at it.

Uh, guys? I think we seriously need to pick up the pace of the RP. It's been more than a week since the last post... >.<

Gerald laughed as he watched Alex flip out over a Yanma. Shaking his head, Gereld pointed at the Yanma and called to Bubba, who was buzzing around the bushes trying to find some berries, "Help him out, tackle that Bug!"

Scowling at Gerald for taking him away from his explorations, Bubba slowly buzzed of and tried to smash into the Yanma, but was surprised when it dodged out of the way. Feeling challenged, Bubba chased the red dragonfly all over the place, trying desperatly to catch it.

 

[Vesuvius Hetlan]

Alex scrambled back making rather high-pitched squeaks. Both Rhodes and Bubba chased around the Yanma towards Alex. He reached for his second to last pokeball and whipped it at the Yanma. The ball made contact with the red dragonfly. The back of the pokeball that is. With a loud thump the Yanma fell dazed to the ground. Alex crawled up to the Yanma and pulled the pokeball out and tapped the button on its head. It was sucked in. 1 shake. 2 shakes. 3 shakes. DING!

Alex picked up the ball and stared at it. "... Haaaah. More bugs... Well... might as well check you out and name you... Ummm... How about Kazansky?" He pulled out his Pokedex

Yanma/Kazansky
The Clear Wing pokemon
It can hover in one spot by flapping its wings at high speed. It flits about to guard its territory.

"N-not bad, Kazansky..." He held out the pokeball and sent out Kazansky. The dragonfly shot out of the pokeball and smiled widely. It then flitted to Alex's head and landed. Prompting Alex to let out a girlish scream and scampered away.

" If you hate bugs so much, why do you keep catching them Alex?" Asked Gerald as he patted Bubba on the head, congratualating him on being helpful.

Eric finally got his Pokemon back from the nurse, who looked exhausted.

"Thanks again!"

She didn't even reply, she just looked to the next trainer despairingly.

I wonder if this place will ever be the same.

Eric hit the pavement of the path hard. He wasn't going to be on his own anymore.

 

[Vesuvius Hetlan]

Alex spoke quietly "It isn't that I hate them. Far from it. It's just that... They scare me. And my father used ta use them and since he used to... I... I kinda wanted to try... He always seemed to be having so much more fun." Alex sighed and stood up. "K-Kazansky! Let's try l-l-landing on my a-arm!" Alex's voice was cracking and he held out his arm which the Dragonfly hovered around and landed on in almost perfect style. "G-g-good job. Kazansky... G-good job." He gave the red dragonfly a thumbs up and it took off again, greeting the other pokemon he saw.

I really liked my character and the theme of this RP. I am still assuming it has died <.<
