I've got a keyboard stand, couple of craft knives, some turpentine/white spirits and lighters (these two go together =D), a sweeping brush, body sprays and more lighters a Dremel tool, a couple of scissors, a mallet... and... a glass. That all I can think of that I could wield successfully.

Within reaching distance, I have a can of Raid, a can of cleaning spray propellant stuff for the laptop, possibly a pair of scissors, and ... a flashlight? There's a dagger in a box on the other side of the room, but if they're in here, I'd have to get passed them to get to said dagger.

I'm probably screwed. All else fails, I have a rather long paint brush I could stab them with the butt of...? Potentially? I don't know ¬_¬

Raid them in the face, kick them in the leg so they fall down, run and get the dagger, then stab them in the eye!

Then there's several planks of wood I could use in a similar fashion.
Maybe I could use one of these thicker cables and flog them with it.

There's nothing too practical, unfortunately, but if I'm allowed to open the one door down here, I'd be granted a whole storage room full of plausible pain-makers.

I actually have some brass knuckles just chilling in my room on a ledge at all times. there is also 4 spikes located inside a drawer on my desk that i could get to and screw into the knuckles in about oh, 20 seconds. so either within 3 seconds i have brass knuckles or within 20 i have spiked knuckles of painful death (Plus 200 strength and 300 critical hit rating)

I'd say just within reach I'd have enough to distract a burglar for me to get a stab in with a pocket-knife or hit over the head with the Harry Potter book.

My PS3 would make a good implement to bludgeoning some guys. My monitors are also fairly good for hitting. If I have enough time to get tot he kitchen or get past the guy and get there there is a knife drawer with plenty of sharp implements to scare the guy off.

Ohh Goody! This is a thread where being an avid gun collector comes in handy!
