Out of the millions of races of animal on our planet, only 1 known race has biological immortality. That is to say, it can keep on living forever as long as it isn't killed or doesn't run out of food.
What is it?
A species of jellyfish called Turritopsis nutricula. It originates somewhere in the carribean sea.
Those bastards I say we hunt them to extinction and steal their secrets to immortatlity.
I think i'd rather wait until medical scientists fix the many around 65 genetic mistakes per copy made of our DNA than have every cell in my body go through puberty backwards everytime I get lucky.
(scientists say they might achieve this in the next 20 years, which as we know, means in about 70 years)

An octopus has 9 brains.
But surely a single conciousness born out of the constant thought process of the 9?
I guess that depends on if they all work out independent solutions to a problem and then correspond or if they "share the work load" so to speak.

Well, each arm has a brain that is only concerned with the use of that arm, and there's one central brain that handles everything other than motor control.

Did you know that if you say the word 'gullible' really slowly, it sounds just like you're saying 'oranges'?

If you mouth the word "colorful" to someone, it is almost indistinquishable from the words "I love you"

One out of every one hundred people on earth are direct descendants of Genghis Khan.

Squirrels, chipmunks and other similar rodents deliberately run out into the the road when they see an oncoming car. They do it for the thrill of it, it's like bungee jumping for them.

AP Physics joke / useless fact:

When does a student have No Potential?

At the bottom of a cliff! (Since they're both dead, and their potential energy was converted into Kinetic mass once it hit the ground... bah who cares.)

We actually use more than 10% of our brain, but that's usually if you're multitasking to engage multiple areas within your brain.

The American military coin that all units have is from a WW1 pilot shot down during the war, captured, escaped, and only way to prove he was indeed who he was before almost being executed by his own people, he showed his coin as proof that he was from that unit. Became traditions since.

It is illegal in the state of Washington to not have a trashbag in your car, and can be fined 124 dollars if they ask you and you can't show it, since it's a law for fighting litter. I love my driving school that has police instructors :D

There's such a thing as infinity not being large enough.

Example: draw a circle. Realize that there are an infinite number of points on that circle. Draw a line that connects every single one of those points with the center of the circle. The number of lines, by definition, is infinity.

Now, draw a larger circle around the smaller one and extend the lines that you drew from the smaller circle. The infinite lines that you drew from the initial circle are not enough to meet the infinite number of points on the new circle.

That's... actually bullshit. XD

The reason it's bullshit is because "infinity" isn't a number, it's just a concept (more accurately it's the lack of a number).

If you drew an "infinite" number of lines from the centre to the outside of the circle, the entire circle would be black. The individual lines making up the blackness, being infinite in number, would have no width, because as soon as they have width then they would have to be limited in number. As they have no width there would be no boundary at which they meet so they could extend to the outer circle and colour it entirely black as well.

That's not infinity being too small, that's lines being too big. If lines are too wide we cannot accurately portray each individual infinite point, which leads to misleading gaps.

No, it isn't. For example:
