I use them occasionally. When other people are around, I keep it down a lot, on my own... *&$%$*&%^ happens quite often.

Almost never. Swearing all the time is like using a sword to mine rocks - absolutely pointless and dulls the tool.

I swear quite a lot. Usually in Finnish though. "Ah, fuck" just feels tame compared to "No voi vittu".
And "voi vittu" feels tame compared to PERKELE
on behalf of all those who only speak english, could you do an approximate translation please?

I swear all the time because the only reason the words are "bad" is because society makes them "bad."

Honestly, we only think they're naughty, bad, evil, satanic words because we're brought up by our parents telling us not to use them. So we live out our lives with that mindset and teach our kids that these words are shameful and are not to be spoken.

When really? They're just words...

Very rarely. Only when I'm pissed off or passionate about something.
I don't get offended or cry myself to sleep when someone swears though.

Funny fact, my mum doesn't like me f-ing and blinding so she'll tell me to "stop fucking swearing!"

Ahhh, sorry. Vittu is basically ****, but is used like the word fuck (= between every fucking word).

Perkele is a word for satan, used a lot in the bible. The word just has amazing power when pronounced correctly. If you are interested, just put perkele in youtube and find out more. I don't have time to find a good link now.

There's no such thing as curse words.
By definition those words back in ye olde times were said to curse people hence curse words.
But that's not really what I meant.
Words only have power if you choose to give them power.
N*gger, is empty. Just a word it means nothing unless you make it mean something to you.

I curse just out of routine at this point it's a part of my vocabulary.
But at the same time I'm respectful to people who do not wish to hear such words.

The only times I swear are when someone presses one of my buttons... or when something makes no sense, I don't swear like an 11 year old who says a swear word every other word though.

Aye, I swear quite often (verbally). However, there are certain swearwords I won't use until I'm properly pissed off. Gotta have some swearwords in backup so people can see when you're over the limit. It's just a thing that sticks with you once you've grown up with 'em (at least they did with me).

I've never sworn, I just find it rather stupid. If your intellect is really so small that you can't come up with a phrase longer then "F*** You!" then you deserve to be sanctioned because your brain is obviously no longer in use!

And before any swear happy people try to counter my statement (probably by using "Yahtzee" as an example) at least he's SMART, you on the other hand, well I have this to say...

I would engage you in a battle of wits, but I refuse to fight an unarmed man.

Heh. I always thought that English was much cooler language that Finnish. But swearing in Finnish in a bit better yes.
