i watched these videos, and the darfur one, well, he seems to love to WHINE a lot, and i have seen a few of his movies, most of the ones i did see, sucked, i fell asleep during one.

i think most people hate him because he gets a videogame and makes a movie on it.
but the movie has nothing to do with the plot to the game.

alone in the dark for example im pretty sure the games had nothing to do with native americans putting monster in boxes and then hiding the boxes all across the world.
the only thing he kept the same was the main characters name.

Disregarding the callings of whether you're a troll or not, I'll assume that what you're saying is true to your word.

Firstly, even if you do absolutely adore Uwe Boll's films, calling him a "high caliber director and brilliant man" and his films "The scripts for these films were brilliant, the art direction and cinematography was golden, and the overall directing, by the man himself, was somthing that greats like Speilberg and Lucas can take some lessons from." is a bit crazy, even if you do absolutely love Boll's films.

If you knew that everyone hates Boll, then surely you should have known that saying that his films are "golden and absolutely brilliant" would make you be labeled as a troll?

So, just because my opinion is unpopular, I should stay quiet? Just because I seem to diverge from the status quo, I am a troll? Are my opinions invalid because they are different?

That's not what he's saying. He's saying that you should have expected this reaction. And after your little escapade on IRC while I tried to explain why I didn't like him but didn't hate him, you just assumed I hated him and refused to hear any different. That makes your opinion invalid. The fact that you refuse any other possible opinion as valid means that I can't take you seriously. The fact that you hold a bias that has been pointed out to you, that you are consciously aware of, and that you could very easily suspend at least momentarily, but refuse to, means that you are considering your opinion to be fact. You are complaining that you think people are saying you aren't allowed to post your opinion, and yet when we voice our dissenting opinion you get angry and refuse to listen. That is why your opinion no longer holds any value.

The guy does what he wants, the American way, and if someone disagrees with him he does what anyone else in this forum would do. Ignore. And blatantly think what we've all said at least once before, espicially if you've ever played XBOX live, "He's probably some stupid kid, and at least I know I can beat him up." - which he can, and proved to us all.

Well, Boll does often challenge critics who disagrees with his movies to boxing matches (honestly, not the most mature move, but I'll go along with it). That's not really ignoring negative feedback is it? However, when Attack of the Show's Seanbaby, trained in jujutsu, offered to take the place of another actor, Boll demanded his stats. When he realized he wasn't fighting the other guy (who, really, is a short skinny guy) he instantly backed out of the match. I will give him that he has fought actual amateur boxers, but isn't not picking on someone his own size a little bit cowardly?

Jujutsu isn't really effective in a boxing match, but still I see fighting Uwe Boll as a "invitations only" kind of deal, other wise I'll be putting my name in for his next match.

just kidding. There is nothing wrong with liking Twilight. The only reason it gets so much hate is because the majority of Twilight-haters are boys aged 13-17, and Twilight's target demographic is different. And since it's different, they hate it.
Not to mention, only 10% of those haters saw the film, and less than 1% read the book.

How the hell is he a troll? He's merely expressing his own opinion, and if you read the original post the guy is making his opinion known with a knowledge of the area he's talking about. He's watched Uwe Boll's films and so he knows what he's talking about, and so he's made an informed opinion, which we should respect, even if we all do want to see Uwe Boll drowned in acid before he makes another film. And so on. Leave the guy alone, for God's sake. If that's his opinion then that's fine. Don't hassle him for it.

You don't seem to understand what a troll is. A troll gets laughs out of fooling people. I think he has fooled most of the people in this thread.
