People are already saying that... Have you ever seen Valve Time? The running joke is that their games NEVER come out. I think that's why most people didn't like the idea of L4D2. Now get on Ep. 3 dammit. For everybody commenting on the Ep. 3 situation, it's already finished, but they just want to wait until people start saying that Valve will never make it, then they'll release it to much praise.Macgyvercas said:Whoa...Not only does Valve have way too much time on their hands (which could be spent on episode 3), they just passed the threshold for EPIC AWESOMENESS!
As for the Bible quotes, awesome.
Where would I find this "Valve Time" you speak of? Is it something like -4:00 GMT?Aby_Z said:People are already saying that... Have you ever seen Valve Time? Yes.SeanthePsycho said:Pardon my lack of knowledge about Steam and how servers work (I only recently became a Steam user and a Team Fortress 2 player) but what exactly is a fake server? Is that when I see a game of 2Fort has 21/24 players and when I get to the game I find I am the only one present?
Yeah, basically. Some servers do it to try and get people to join, as a 21/24 player server is much more fun than a 0/24 player server.SeanthePsycho said:Pardon my lack of knowledge about Steam and how servers work (I only recently became a Steam user and a Team Fortress 2 player) but what exactly is a fake server? Whoa, okay dude, I'm sorry. Just a little joke.Eclectic Dreck said:First, fake server counts are a legitimate problem (mostly a passing annoyance) in a current property. Second, it was likley easily addressed by a single developer spending a day or two on the task. Third, episode 3 comes out when it's done and I suspect that the potential delay of a few man hours means little with regards to the actual release date.Kuchinawa212 said:I suppose that's funny and all, but why aren't they working on Ep. 3 with all this free time!!!?!

Seriously, I'm beginning to think the internet doesn't know what it wants. They want new stuff now but it must be perfect and not too soon after the old stuff. Also they want the old stuff supported but they don't want to pay.
It's more of a guide, really. Feel enlightened: http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Valve_Timerandommaster said:Where would I find this "Valve Time" you speak of?
