That is AWESOME!
Makes me want to like the free TF2 weekend, but unfortunately I probably still won't.

The fact that they replied.
Or the fact that they played along with it.
I would love Valve, but the lack of support for PS3 is still making me bitter.
Hey, if you have to be a puppet for someone then why not Valve? They're the most awesome game developer I can think of, I'd be proud to be their puppetKeane Ng said:Are you suggesting that I'm no more than a puppet for Valve?Grampy_bone said:Very shrewd. They send out a silly letter and all the gaming sites and bloggers talk about it. Beats spending money on ad banners.
How dare you.
In retrospect, I don't think Valve has any clue on how to handle their community =\.readme.txt said:The last few days should be summed up in a "How to handle your community" document and send to every publisher and developer.
Epic win.
I think it's more the realism of it which makes it "clever humour". The fact that the sniper is an Australian character, with his crocodile Dundee style. And of course with all it's uses and with the lack of resources in the out back, it's a valuable tool to someone like 'the sniper'. So it's wit really lies with that it's a realistic item used within a largely unrealistic world. Plus it fits with the animated 'childish' style tf2 is designed with aaaaand who doesn't get a giggle with now and again hitting someone with a jar of urine xDincal11 said:I don't consider things like the Jarate to be "clever humor";
but I guess that if you don't know any better...
