Very shrewd. They send out a silly letter and all the gaming sites and bloggers talk about it. Beats spending money on ad banners.
Are you suggesting that I'm no more than a puppet for Valve?

How dare you.

More effective than banners as well, not just monetarily, but because we're virtually guaranteed to think of them in a positive light after this sort of thing, whereas people will be indifferent of banners.

Why can't more companies be like Valve?

Valve, the top of the game industry :D. I'm kinda disappointed they didn't win the MM, but I suppose that's life.

After seeing this, it is apparent that valve SUCKS. There is no reason for me to like valve anymore.

OK so I really suck at trying to "be different".

There's also a mention of TF2's April Fools Joke, The Jarate, a throwable jar full of urine. Confirmation of The Sniper's next item? I hope so.
Well Day 7 and this http://www.teamfortress.com/sniper_vs_spy/ hopefully that confirms it.

I don't consider things like the Jarate to be "clever humor";
but I guess that if you don't know any better...
Its how its done, that is clever.
Yep. Any subject matter in the world can make for clever humor. You've just gotta do it right.

As Spock says, this is full of win. And since we are still getting content for other games in the meantime, I'm willing to wait longer for Episode 3. If I were to walk through the offices of Valve today, I bet I'd see them buzzing with energy and programming, and at least one of them wearing diddlyboppers on their head.
Me? I woulda ordered a sandvich. It is small, but looks oh so full of yum. But most likely I would have gotten a return letter expressing regret that they were out of stock due to "Unforeseen Lunch Breaks"

"100% Safe/Flammable"

This is why I love Valve. Strange that I seem to be saying that a lot recently.

That's awesome! It's worth it, even if we have to wait an extra three months for Epiode 3.
Except, you know that everyone will be doing it now...
