First off, I would like to point out that I don't give two flips whether or not someone is vegan/vegetarian. I'm not. I eat meat. I like meat. Meat is very, very tasty. Ilove a nice T-bone steak, medium-rare, served with shrimp and a baked potato (which is always enough for some delicious leftovers). I've experienced people who were way too ... liberal with the application of their views on others. "You shouldn't eat that, its murder." "You shouldn't eat that, Its disgusting." I've eaten fucking haggis. Haggis. That's the liver, heart, and lungs of a sheep minced up with onions and various spices and boiled in the same sheep's stomach. Bah! I also don't understand vegans/vegetarians in that, in order to retain their "peaceful" lifestyle, they have to take pills to replace the vital amino acids they aren't getting from meat. I'd rather eat meat than be on a lifelong prescription to meat supplement medication. Plus, I've never liked soy. The texture is just... ugh.

The only time I felt bad eating meat was when I was watching my mom make lobster, she kept telling me that lobsters scream and she she put them in she started screaming and it scared the crap out of me, then again I was 6. I still eat lobster because it is too delicious.

I couldn't do it personally, but there are plenty of good reasons to be one, which I can't be bothered listing. Serj tankian is one so it can't be that bad.

Has anyone else ever noticed that herbivores are usually the stupidest animals? And carnivores/omnivores, AKA, the ones who have to think up strategies to use when hunting, are the smarter ones?
I'm pretty sure no one's noticed and no one cares.
As we're all human it's pretty irrelevant, you don't have say, a vegetarian lion and a carnivorous lion to compare.
No, what you mean to say is that YOU don't notice, and YOU don't care. See, cuz I noticed, and I care a little bit about it. Not really all that much. I was just pointing it out cuz I felt it was somewhat related to the whole "do you only eat veggies or meat?" question, and that it was an interesting factoid.
And yes, I am an ass. Especially to vegans, 13/15 (yes, I've counted) vegans/vegetarians I have to deal with on a daily basis are BIGGER asses, though. And you, VoidAndrogyne, also seem like an ass, though as I don't know you, and you don't know me at all, neither of us are qualified at calling the other an ass.

Vegans confuse me.
I can understand that they may not like meat or that there against animal products, but they take on a diet that will slowly destroy their body unless they take supplements for vital nutritions found only in animal products. strange people...

also meat is awesome

If you have a thing against factory farms go hunt your own. I loves me some "homemade" deer and elk.

As a man, I must eat meat. It just adds something special to know that your meal was once a living thing.

Yes, I am an arse.
And I know tons of vegans that are arses.
I also know tons of meat eaters that are arses.
People. Are. Arses.
It doesn't matter what they eat, it's not a defining personality trait.

And you hardly relied to what I actually said in relation to your original comment.

Also, whoever said vegans have to take supplements is wrong.
