Positive. I never took it off later in the game unless I did a quest.

I don't seem to be having any other problems with it. At least I don't think I am.

I just beat it though (seriously. every quest is finished), so I don't have to worry about it.

I've spent most of my life playing videogames, mostly rpgs and platformers but there was a bit of dabbling too...

I may not be a super genious in fact im quite average but it certainly hasnt done me any harm.

"1337" speak annoys me. and of course you get pricks online who think just because they can play guitar hero on expert and snipe players from off the map because they discovered glitches. well it just goes to show you just how many fucking pricks there are in the world.

it all depends on the person, but when i eventually have kids ill be raising them on the same cartoons and videogames i was raised on. i think my nana has a megadrive somewhere.

I'm academically dumb.

But I think I have intelligence in real world things and my opinions are well thought out and logical.

I'm pretty average at games overall though, only being genuinely 'good' at certain types of FPS games.

OT: Maybe this is true because you use often tactics even in FPSs and if you're in a tricky situation you will have to think of the smartest thing to do.

Couldn't this be said of any non-physical endeavor?
If one has a larger brain used for something other than keeping one's head from collapsing in on itself, one will excel at things requiring memory, co-ordination and problem solving skills.
The more developed a specific area of the brain is, the more adept a person is at using it.

That even includes the kids who 'pwn' you in Halo 3/ODST's multi-player mode. They are obviously gifted and talented nuissances. Brain size has no bearing whatsoever on things such as self-restraint, tact or prudence.

So it seems science has finally found a reason why the majority of people who play video games are often quite smart, it seems brain size can be linked to gaming ability.

This study is purely correlational. They really can't prove why those sections of peoples brains are bigger or smaller. I don't think that gamers should get pardon the pun but "big heads" about it. That might also suggest that some gamers are wasting their learning abilities on playing games instead of curing cancer or something. I knew a kid when I was a freshman in college that would play Halo 2 while playing another game on his computer and he would rarely die. Then he failed out of college because he never went to class. So don't waste your brain power people!

I suppose that could be true, except I don't think some of the more "interesting" people I have encountered on xbox live are intelligent whatsoever.
