OK, so I just had a restless night. I was dreaming I was in the Lombax's forest being hunted by SlenderMan after playing the new indie game. The worst part was that he had the Me Gusta face. Plus he was constantly showing up no matter what, I kept restarting the game and he would just appear in front of me at the very beginning.

Waking up it was both terrifying and kind of funny. So I ask you fellow gamers, what have been some nightmares you've had involving video games? I've also been chased by a Big Daddy in constant rush mode through a cruise ship but that's another story.

Chip's Challenge......
Oh gods, tiles everywhere, every....where.....

Other than that I'd love some gaming nightmares, they would be rather tame compared to the ones I usually get.

Well I had an nightmare that involve an Alien (not sure if that count since that is a film).

I suppose the other one was I was in Guild Wars doing this challange mission in Dragon's Throat. That challange involve fighting waves after waves of Afflicted which are like human shape tumour things.

Things were going well until I encounter an Afflicted with a gear lodge in it chest which act like a circular saw. Needless to say I ran away from it as it chase after me. I don't know why I didn't fight it as I guess I don't know how to handle one with a gear on its chest.

One weekend I played about 20 hours of Catherine..

The Sunday night I dreamt I was in one of the Challenge Mode (Babel I think it's called) puzzle levels, so close to the top, but placed into an impossible scenario, where no matter how I moved the blocks I couldn't reach the finish. Not scary or anything, just aggravating, and it woke me up about three times.

I had a dream Death from Persona 3 was following me. And he could follow me up stairs, I got to one of the level barricades in tartarus with him on my ass and when he appeared and I was cornered I rage quit and lost all the items I gathered from that run.

I have had a nightmare where I have been trapped in Silent Hill. It was awful, it was the Silent Hill 2 kind of Silent Hill and it did use my deep secrets, fears and insecurities against me.

This was not a nightmare but...
I used to dream that I could run, and after taking some speed I could fly.
I had this dream many times. A couple of years ago someone pointed that It was probably due to super mario world :p

I had a dream about Amnesia: A machine for pigs. I hope the monsters are as scary as the things in that dream.

Being an extreme entomophobe I had some horrible nightmares about the cazadors from Fallout New Vegas chasing me. Also giants spiders, but that's just a general fantasy trope, the ones from Skyrim and Dragon Age creep me out especially.

Minecraft. My internet tends to go wonky in the evening, so I play Minecraft so as not to put too much strain on it. Then my dreams get invaded by endlessly mining through dark tunnels and getting no yield long after I've run out of torches. And creepers. And freakin' endermen.

Not nightmares as such, but suitably creepy.

Only one I still remember vividly. I would be personally fighting a demonic-looking enemy, and every time I won they would hulk out and become even more terrifying and powerful than their previous form. This continues several times until I'm so scared of the latest form I wake up. Probably JRPG inspired, if it's not a metaphor for problems that get worse the more you fight them.

That would make for interesting endurance challenge in a game though.

I remember half of my dreams everyday and seeing as I play a ton of games I often dream of them too. I don't always consider them nightmares even if they are horrible.

I remember a pretty f'ed up dream where I was totally cornered while firing uselessbullet after bullet into an unstopping wall of zombies after playing a ton of resident evil. As stressy and f'ed up the dream was I pretty much enjoyed myself.

just today I woke up a little bit after a previously "normal" dream went into game mode by letting me jump like Alex in Prototype. Except reality kicked in and the impact broke my legs in half. They kept going and dragged my body after them.

I love a good videogame dream.

I had Doom dreams. I've also had driving dreams after playing racing games a lot. Never really had a nightmare though. Doom wasn't a nightmare, I just closed my eyes and saw myself blasting hellspawn, but I didn't get scared.

I don't really see nightmares.

But a week or two after a period of playing Battlefield 3, I had a few cool dreams that included flying as a passenger in some small airplanes/helicopters and the sceneries were so beautiful I had goosebumps right after waking up.

Well I guess it was some what Amnesia. I never played the game but I had just gotten the Humble Bundle. So Me and my friend were in a co-op horror games(sucky idea to have a horror game co-op). So you actually had weapons though. So when we ran into monsters he died. I fought through them and ran. It was a dead end. Then I came back out and all my "kills" had come back and no matter how many times I killed them they wouldn't die. It was scary shit.

I was in a Dead Space game, my RIG was low and I had like 10 rounds for my pulse rifle. It was like amnesia, running through each room until I lost the necromorph

Though most my nightmares tend to be about real life things such as my car getting destroyed or me accidentally killing a guy
