I thought Final Fantasy 7's gameplay was very... meh. My favorite was FF10. FF13 was okay.

Ocarina of Time is my least favorite 3D Zelda. The Wind Waker is my favorite.

I'm heavily baised against first person shooters. I have difficulty giving them a chance.

I've never played a Metal Gear Solid game.

I dislike Call of Duty even though I've never actually played it. I should fix this, but I can't bring myself to. Shooters just look so bland.

I strongly prefer turn-based combat to real-time.

Even though I don't actually like motion control gaming, the Wii is still my favorite current gen console. I don't know how this works out, but it does.

That about covers it. : )

... I enjoy the use of emoticons.

Metal Gear Solid was a fanservice for emos, every MGS after that is fucking bonkers.

Halo has always been an overrated piece of monkeycrap. It's nearly as bad as Counter-Strike. And CS is utter shite.

Yes, my opinions, I don't speak for everyone, yadda yadda yadda.

Does loving the Super Mario Bros. Movie count? Because I do. And I already made a nerd rage over it, in person no less. He was cosplaying at Luigi in traditional style at an Anime Convention and I was seated with my friend at the artists' sales tables. She called the guy over and told him I liked the movie to which he proceeded to spew his fanboy bile all over my lap. And it wasn't just an fanboy nerd, it was a grown man presumably in his 30s from the look of him; a grown man in a homemade Luigi costume telling me, a less conspicuous fan, how much his opinion of the film is actually fact.

Well the fact is it did underwhelming sales at the box office and was lauded for it's "un-Mario-like" presentation, something I praised it for. Honestly, did you really want to see an hour and half of two grown men jumping on turtles and eating mushrooms? The movie as it stands can be considered the first ever third-party interpretation, much like all of those Flash parodies that litter Newgrounds. It's cyberpunk Mario with it's own fantastical mythos connecting it to our world, I felt it told it's story rather well and the production design was stunning.

Of course I didn't say all of this to the fanboy, I can't rightly think that deeply when put on the spot so after his rant, I gave him a pretentious smile and simply said "Well, I like it."

I hate the Halo games, ALL of them. I loathe every FF past eight. I dislike most racing games and any game where you are timed through the whole stupid thing. I love most old school games and still own and play several of them. As for anime and manga, I like some and dislike some. There is nothing in the world where all of it is good but you can usually find something about it you like. I have not bought a new console since my ps2 got jacked and might never again.

I so happy with my console gaming, that although I could buy any PC I wanted I can't be bothered. In fact I ended up getting one of those huge screen iMacs.

#2
I actually enjoyed Dead or Alive Extreme Volleyball, and not (just) for the perving. The second one I did not like

#3
I thought Azurik on XBOX was OK.

#4
Bayonetta was the only game I would be ashamed of being seen playing. And that's saying a lot given point #2.

I've never lasted more than ten minutes of a horror game without quitting in sheer terror... Usually before I've seen a single monster. The atmosphere's just too much.

ADDENDUM: Also, I get sick playing FPS's.

I preferred the story themes of Bioshock 2 better than Bioshock 1. The first one had a better overall story, but I just liked "Fight through the remain's of Rapture to save your Little Sister" idea better.

I hate TF2, I hate Final Fantasy, I hate Counter-Strike, Okami is overly long and freaking boring, RE4 for the gamecube is boring and I hate the control scheme (it's MUCH better on the Wii from what I've played) I hate jackasses who pick a console and say all other consoles suck, I hate elitists who think that "all games have to be as hard as the games that came out when they were kids", I hate fighting games cause I'm not going to waste my life memorizing dozens of button combinations and trying to input them into the game when the game itself is overly specific about my movements and for the moves I actually memorize it screws me up.

I hate time limits in games. When they give you plenty of time, it's fine. But too often the action they want you to do is something you'd only know how to do after failing many times or you'd need to go get a guide, which should be unnecessary.

I hate it when games rate you after doing a level. It's like saying "Congratulations! You completed that very hard level...too bad you suck at it!"

Breeding in Pokemon is HORRIBLY done and is nothing more than a waste of your life and time. The Beauty Pagent introduced in Ruby/Sapphire is also a waste of time. They've taken a simple game and just added layers of unneeded complication to force people to play it for long periods of time instead of themselves actually wanting to play more.

Goldeneye is over rated. WoW is over rated, long, boring, tedious and a waste of your life as well as all MMO's.

The Elderscrolls 3: Morrowind SUCKS! If you stab a rat, you should be able to actually hit the f'ing rat. It shouldn't be miss miss miss until you finally hit it and gain exp from actually hitting it.

Playing a game is not supposed to be work. When it's work, it's not a game anymore, it's a job.

People wouldn't know a good game even if it hit them over the head with a shovel!
(Thanks for making this forum post, I feel a lot better now)

i hate the uncharted games simply because yahtzee's criticism of nathan drake. i have never played the game, i have never heard the much praised voice acting, and i have never even seen any actual gameplay.

but i still hate it because yahtzee describes drake (in so many words) as a douche.

Nerd rage? Anime and JRPGs are the worst creation in the world and need to be purged. It's a plague on creative media as a whole.

EDIT: I'm not trolling. I really do think that.
