I concur with a lot of the folks that have replied, Dante would be a good name (I've had a couple friends with the name). Also I think if it's a boy Virgil would be good if it's a girl Leliana or Kyrie (pronounced kir-e-a) are both beautiful names.

I like Jak, as it's a common name, but with an uncommon spelling. I also think Hunter's a cool name, though it's not particularly recognizable as a video game character name.

For a girl, I think Zelda's a nice enough name, and fairly obvious what you're alluding to. Failing that, Kairi's a pretty name, I think.

Dude, I would much rather have a name that had some sort of meaning or background than my name. My name is fucking Tyler. TYLER.

That's old English for fucking TILEMAKER.

Most people hate their names, REGARDLESS of its origin.

I like Dante because it was an awesome game (subtracting the last 4 levels of hell) and the best character of the movie Clerks.

I also love the name Zelda for a girl, Link even for a boy.

Samus would also be neat.

Keep them coming these are great.
Your a horrible father....
Why do that to your child? D:

I'd got with Kratos or something historic, that way you can always defend it by pretending to be a history buff.
You are aware the character Kratos is entirely fictional?

Dude, dude.

Don't.

It might seem cool right now, but your kid will hate you for giving him some name that only works in an alternate reality.

Name them Kratos, regardless of gender. They'll probably hate you, (especially if it's a girl) but it'll be totally worth it.

EDIT: For the love of god, don't actually name your daughter Kratos. In fact, don't name your kid after something from a videogame unless it's an actual name. If you really want to name something after a fictional character, get a dog. They're already failures at life. Adorable little failures.

I like how you imply your name has no meaning or background, then you say one possible meaning or background of it.
Excuse me if I wasn't clear. A meaningful background or well, meaning. You really think that it's better to name your child "Tilemaker" than, say, "Kerrigan" or "Dante?"

Never seen fight club?
Yes, I have.

My parents, however, have not.
