mainly because of the health regen system, just because of the health regen system, i have been put off from many games, like GOW and Halo.
So what do you think is the most annoying feature of any game?
Health regen in God of War? I don't recall this, except upon multiple deaths in the same spot.
Annoying features though:
Could it be annoying by omission?
Like any FPS - they should allow a third person mode so you can actually see what the hell is going on around you, instead of walking around with no peripheral vision. Yeah that's my vote.
Can you view life in 3rd person? No? Then shut up!
Lack of split-screen and a co-op campaign. I'm looking at you Bad Company 2.
No but I have peripheral vision.
Also:
Video games =/= real life.
Yes, but the FPS is supposed to be "more realistic". Also, if you like third person games, may I suggest either The Saboteur and Assassin's Creed 2?
?
Quite so. Afterall, I was just fighting off Head Crabs in my HEV suit so that I could walk back home with my buddies. Sadly, they were held up by aliens attacking Earth, an army of the Dead inside of a House, and being trapped inside of hell where they shot Mecha Hilter to death.
Seriously, where he was arguing was the fact that a first person perspective is actually more like wearing blinders as you've got no peripheral vision, as opposed to a third person perspective, that more often than not is located behind the character and allows for you to see the sides, though you still depend mostly on seeing in the center of the screen. Lastly, like he said in another post, Bethesda has proven that you can switch between the two (first person for combat, and third for looking around). Besides, most games seem to love zooming into the back of you skull to start with if its FPS, so why not allow us to zoom back out since you've already started things out in third person.
As for what I want to see go: Leveling when it doesn't fit, every game having realistic graphics, and most of all multiplayer. Allow me to explain the last one: I don't mind games having a multiplayer mode added onto it and done well, but if it's either tacked on, or the only reason for the game, it either doesn't need to be there or should be released as multiplayer only. It's fine guys, I don't mind not having a half assed story worked into every game. Some games are ok as being released solely as online.
