Digital Interactivity.
I dunno, I'm tired.
**Actually...no. Keep video games as a label, because that's what they are. They're displayed visually, and they're games. If gamers want to change their label to something more serious sounding, they can do that just as well by doing something that actually matters. If you want to be known as a soldier, stop playing Call of Duty and instead join the military services. If you want to be known as an Investigative Detective slash Vigilante, stop playing Batman and go become a freelance private investigator working charity for their neighborhood. If you want to be known as someone with a vast amount of experiences in matters both commonplace and rare and special, stop fiddling around with video games and go out into the world, learn new things, do jobs, do chores, and gain real experience, that will let the world know you aren't just someone who plays video games in order to develop what you think is a well-cultured mentality, but rather become someone who has seen the world and what it has to offer--who has, by following Maslow's hierarchy of needs, reached that pinnacle of human existence: self-actualization, or transcendence. Then, you'll be someone.
But until then you might as well go ahead and call yourself a Digital Interactor, it's all groovy. Now I really ought to get some sleep...
