To Mookie_Magnus: Talking is a human characteristic so Nanaki, Red13 does count as an anthro :3 At least he does in my definition. His intelligence level is much higher than an animals and he can have conversations.

To everyone: Thank you for posting :3 I've heard of some of these, but many I have not. I'm already checking them out. Thank you to ForgottenPr0digy for the link to WikiFur. Oddly that option of searching didn't even come up in my mind. But now :3 everyone can see the listings here.

CONKERS BAD FURDAY the greatest offensive furry game on earth
As much as I hate furries, I'd have to agree. It is the 2nd greatest game of all time...

f2p mmorpg Perfect World has Two classes that fit this topic. Barbarians can be Panda, Lion, Tiger etc, and they even morph into an actual white tiger to use a second skill tree. All male tho.

For the ladies they have venomancers like me. Which are foxgirls, bunny girls, demongirls, catgirls etc.

Though since they all have a fox form regardless I have no idea why they would be anything other than a vixen. Bushy tails are the only acceptable kind :p

Gauntlet for the gamecube. Don't believe me? You could unlock a minotaur, tigress, falcon woman, jackal, and some others.

Nanaki in FFVII
Beast in X-Men Legends
Red XIII(Nanaki) doesn't really count because he was a special breed of sentient animal. He had no humanoid traits in appearance, he could just talk.
If he can talk, that makes him anthropomorphic. A Furry.

No it doesn't.
Yes, it does. Anthropomorphism is giving human characteristics and traits to animals and inanimate objects. Nanaki can talk, is intelligent, and has emotions.

Furry itself is just slang for anthropomorphic animals.

I think you'll find most animals can vocalise to some extent, are intelligent, and have emotions. Parrots are not anthropomorphic birds, for a start.

Not really, more usually it's slang for the fandom thereof.

if you are a fur fetishest, then i regretably must inform you that the only universal truth that /b/ has ever spoken is OH GOD KILL IT WITH FIRE
These kind of comments are unwelcome. In short, stop or it's Hammertime.

The point of this thread is to discuss furry characters in games, not to flame the fandom. I would hope that our forum users would have the maturity to do so.

I dunno... Only thing i can recall fur* this purposes is Ratchet and Clank series. Ratchet is anthropomorphic and is covered in yellow fur. So he technically qualifies...

...if you overlook the fact that he's an alien from a galaxy far far away, and has a tendency to wield guns about his own size.

*yay incredibly lame pun!

StarFox?
And maybe Crash Bandicoot and some characters in Spyro (Hunter, for example).
