I can't think of any criticism for Chrono Trigger or Planescape: Torment. They were just extremely well-done games.

Portal was good, although it was engaging and made you think, I got kinda bored of it too quickly. And Garys Mod is good, but to get the most out of it you need to download new things for it, and I don't know how to put them into the game :L

I'd have to say Ratched And Clank: Tool of Destruction. Not my favorite game but I can't think of anything bad about it.

Was going to say Pokemon Crystal too but the ghost gym sometimes feels like cheatin'! Shadow Ball spammers. :p

Heavy Rain.

yes if you ignore the giant plot holes and retarded story
Plot holes? Retarded story? What are you talking about?

need i say more a game based around story should not have it this bad
and link has some spoilers

this link explains all massive plot holes and also speaks about the awful story
Now, I don't think that many of these are particularly valid points.

1. How do you know that Madison has never met the Origami Killer? She's an investigative journalist, she might well know who else is investigating the case.

2. That's not a plot hole. People not giving stuff to the police does not make it a plot hole.

3. I have no idea what this is talking about, because I wasn't captured by the police. No comment on this one.

4. Sure, the evidence might not be particularly convincing, but it's the best the police had, and again, it's not a plot hole.

5. This can be explained easily. Shelby could have given him the Origami. We know that he is watching Ethan closely.

6. Making logical deductions is not a plot hole.

7. Hold your breath. There's plenty of air inside a fridge to last a couple of minutes, and she only stays in it for a few seconds. I don't see fridges being "impossible" to open from the inside. It's not like you have to apply a lot of force to open a fridge door.

8. The drug alleviates the side effects of over-exposure to ARI; the drug itself is not dangerous.

9. Maybe the Swat team didn't shoot Ethan because they were trying to capture him and question him about the location of his son. As for guns being useless, remember that bit where Shelby shoots people and they die? Sure doesn't seem useless to me.

10. Don't have much to say to this, seems a fair criticism. Still, the plot makes sense even if Mad Jack doesn't bother to cover up his crimes.

11. Do you think that perhaps Shelby could have gone through the tunnel system, and on the way back, dropped broken glass everywhere?

12. It's perfectly possible that Ethan's alter ego was willing to mutilate himself to prove his love for his son.

13. It was the middle of the night, it's perfectly conceivable that the police were on their way. The entire scene wasn't particularly long, so the police may have just not gotten there yet.

14. Having money is not a plot hole. There's plenty of places that Shelby could have gotten the money from.

15. The thing with Manfred is a bit of a cheat, I agree.

Ultimately, your criticisms don't matter, because the thread is about video games I cannot criticise, and I couldn't fault Heavy Rain.

Persona 3: FES and Persona 4 I found really enjoyable and can't really criticize. I also can't really find any fault with Resident Evil 4.

None. If I've played it, I can criticise it.

The closest thing to an exception would be Portal.

I do not believe there is such a thing as a perfect game. Every game has flaws. Now, I love video games, and I love certain series, but is there a single game that you just can't criticize?
I can't criticize Harvest Moon. It's perfect at what it sets out to do. That and Syberia.

Okay, everyone's said Portal already, but I'll add my candle of approval to the megawatt torch alerady shining.

Also, I just finished playing Professor Layton and the Curious Village. It's certainly not a game for everyone, but there is no legitimate criticism I can make of it.

(When I say 'legitimate', I mean how you could whinge that it doesn't have enough guns or how you can't collect stars, but then you're asking for it to be a different game).
