A Link to the Past

I literally can't think of anything bad to say about it.
It's boring might be a start. ;D

Just kidding, if you find it fun then it may be perfect. I just think it's boring.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Spyro the Dragon. Pure platforming perfection...
Dialogue.

SHUTDOWN!!
Are you kidding? Clancy freaking Brown telling you to "Be on the lookout for Gnorc Commandos" and then Carlos Alazraqui (Spyro) is all like "They better be on the lookout for me". The dialogue may not be a big part of the game, but what is in it is absolutely brilliant!

It's of my personal opinion that this is as close to gaming perfection as we've gotten. Likeable characters, great voicework, an interesting storyline with unexpected twists, a genuinely fun battle system and one of the deepest fusion systems in a game to date. The only thing that you can really complain about is the hour and a half before you really start getting into Social Links, dungeon crawling and fusing but that's about it.
Thats the thing, me and my Girlfriend argue on which one was better, 3 or 4, I think it was 4 to tell the truth
They're equally great in every single category except for the battle system where 4 excels. :D

Half-life 2 and Starfox for N64 since it was a game I played as a child and was so enthralled by the space combat & epicness of the boss-fights that I never noticed Slippy
Portal being another obvious one, Okami for me being another
ooh and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.

Crono Trigger and Portal.

Tecniquliy one can criticize a perfect game; it's called lying.

EXAMPLE: Portal was too long.

*snip*(I know I couldn't think of one without pointing out a flaw, but come on. There has to be one person who believes a certain game is a platinum statue made out of chocolate.)
Contradiction! How can you have a platinum statue made of chocolate? Covered in chocolate I can see.
OT: I can't think of any game that I can't criticize.

She likes the story better in 3, but its my fault for getting her addicted to the games in the first place i guess.

Anything I haven't played.

Anything I have played is fair game, no pun intended.

I pride myself on not being a close minded dick.

Portal. It's probably the only game I literally have zero complaints for. Thoughtful puzzles, funny dialogue, great characters.

And while I loved Portal's cousin, Half-Life 2, I never cared much for Alyx. I tried to like her, I really did, but in the end I just wanted to punch her in the face.

Knights of the Old Republic could have been up there with Portal, but god dammit if Dantooine doesn't piss me off just because of the stupid squabbling farmers/Romeo and Juliet mission. Arrrghh. Hatred is burning in me at the mere memory of dealing with the two families.

Someone probably already said this, but chess.

My only criticism with chess is that I am bad at it. But thats not a real critique. No other game in the world has the amount of strategic depth, re-playability, etc. It is for all intents and purposes, the perfect game.

Well, it's a little bit dull on the eyes, but other then that, chess is absolutely perfect. Anyone who doesn't like chess is just bad at it, or doesn't have any good competition to make it challenging. Chess, when you play it with someone you enjoy; that challenges you, and you are in a good mood, is a fun game. There is no doubt about it.

The lord will strike me down for being to cocky, but I can't think of any complaint for chess other then bad graphics and me being a sore loser.

Golden Sun. I was actually trying to think of something I could criticize it about earlier and I drew a blank. I can't think of one thing. This is my perfect game.
