A good villain MAKES a video game. Some are pure evil that seriously make you want to jump into the game just so you can punch they're face, and some are just so cool that you just want to see how well they fight. Maybe they're costume looks amazing, maybe they have a power that you think is powerful,maybe they have the motivation of an ant but still do it anyway.

Its hard to find really cool Villains nowadays, their mostly just some generic terror/pmc/russian realistic like guy...

But I must admit I like Malygos too. Nothing says "batshit crazy" like wanting to tear the world apart to repair the magic laylines.

The Doctor in TF2. Sure you can be him, but he's still an ass if your fighting him and he's healing a heavy or a pyro.

Darth Nihlus or Darth Revan. One's a frikkin gap in the force given form, and the other is possibly the most powerful being to ever bear the "Darth" title. ALSO, barring that, I would pay money to see The Dahaka from Warrior Withintake on Kratos.

Sentient God-Beings with one goal. To destroy the entire Universe and all of Creation and remake it in their own, warped vision.
They have no emotion, no desire, feel no pain or loss, have no attachment to any form of life. The Grigori don't even value their own existence. It's as if the entire "Hive-Mind" mentality was put on auto-pilot and they exist solely to destroy with no regard as to the result. You can't even call them Sociopathic or Anti-Social, as they have no individual awareness.
The Grigori are simply "We" and all life is "Energy to be consumed and reshaped".
