Villains of Gaming.

Now as we all know..many people have give lots and lots of hype about a video games hero....but when you think about it a hero is nothing without the villain. Like Batman and The Joker.

So lets discuss some of the great villains of games.

I'll start..witha good one Albert Wesker.

Wesker was a very stereotypical villain - for me Gongora from Lost Odyssey was a great villain - he had many traits to famous dictators so the way he acted (minus the magic) was somewhat believable. The game also tricks the player at the start into sympathizing with Gongora before revealing he really was evil.

Gravemind would be interesting, because the flood is seen as the villian, but they're really primitive life-forms, and infecting other organisms is how they survive.

In Baten Kaitos:

YOU are the demons. That's right, the MAIN CHARACTER is responsible for the whole evil plot (although Melodia was the one that was influencing things directly) and the only reason why you, the Guardian Spirit of the character don't know about this (although there is foreshadowing) is that your mind was forcibly wiped before the events of the first game.

At the time I played it, it utterly and completely blew my mind. It still does.

SHODAN and GLADOS are great, memorable villains too.

Kefka Palazzo from FF6 is one of my favorite villains. To simplify, take heath Ledgers Joker and throw him into a final fantasy game, then give him a bit more comical sense and presto you got the crazy SOB that is Kefka. He can be said to be very stereotypical but it was done in a fashion that made him unique in a way. You just hated him unconditionally and he had no redeeming qualities, he was just pure hate. From the second his music plays and he first appears in the game something inside of you just clicks and a you say to your self "I am going to hate this guy", and time after time he gives you good reason. Plus he destroyed the friggen world, thats instant cool points right there.

The only villain is the Cyberdemon. There are no other villains. Put them next to the Cyberdemon, they ain't got shit on him. he got rockets coming out of his goat ass

Dr Robotnik = Dr Eggman. Or more precisely, it's Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik.
