But the second dnd movie was easily 3-4 times better than the first. Monster rancher, maybe a remake, but there was no point in a true sequel, there was no story. Dino crisis, the first one wasn't very good, liked the second though. COD, they haven't really changed, they aren't sequels so much as, remakes. Patches.Hyrulian Hero said:do game movies count? Dungeons and Dragons, Bloodrayne and Mortal Kombat all had sequels, none should have.
Agreed completely.Footinbox said:Lost Planet. Hated the game.
If you are just straight up button mashing on a DMC game, you're doing it wrong =/ And DMC does have a story...somewhat, it just uses ham to push itself along.Digitaldreamer7 said:DMC was boring, the story wasn't that great and I have never been a fan of the "mash all buttons as fast as you can til everything is dead" style of game play. It takes no thought really, just fast fingers. (that IS what she said) At least god of war had a good story to back it up.
I really don't understand why he gets so much shit for the House of the Dead movies... I mean they're slasher movies with zombies set to a game that was so ridiculous it was a spoof of itself... As far as Blood n' Tits zombie movies go the House of the Dead movies were actually very fun to watch.FargoDog said:The game got a sequel? I thought the first whimpered away and died. As for the movie, it's Uwe Boll. How the man made anything after House of the Dead baffles me, nevermind Bloodrayne sequels.Hubilub said:Bloodrayne.
This applies to both the game and the movie.
Are people really that desperate for hot vampire chicks?
And yes, yeswethey are.
it's battlefront, not battlefield, but YES!!! Hell, I'd even be happy with them just remaking the second game with current gen graphics and features!MachoFern said:Sequels don't bother me so much, developers deserve to leech of the success of their first game, but it does bother me when a sequel is made instead of another better game that fans are screaming for
Dang it LucasArts we want the next Star Wars Battlefield NOW!
Well, people are really that desperate for vampires these days.Hubilub said:Bloodrayne.

HATED?! Really? It got average to mediocre reviews. That's not "Universally hated". Also you can blame the creators of Beyond Good and Evil for not getting a sequel out yet http://kotaku.com/5573256/beyond-good--evil-2-being-made-by-small-team-to-preserve-its-soulKwaggaDan said:Kane and Lynch. Personally, I found Zero Mission to be far superior to Fusion.Hiroshi Mishima said:Likewise, considering that the Metroid games were supposed to be a trilogy, I was rather surprised when sequels were announced. Perhaps even more surprising was that Fusion did NOT get a sequel.. instead we got MZM which is probably the worst 2-D Metroid game in existence and introduced us to the most unnecessary addition the series has ever seen: The Zero Suit.
Much in agreement with these folks here.Omikron009 said:This. Exactly what I was going to say. What the hell were they thinking?J03bot said:Oh, and Cats and Dogs 2. It's not a game, but why the hell is there a sequel coming out?
