Who shot Nice Guy Eddie?

Actually, also from Reservoir Dogs, what happened to Mr. Pink? You can hear in the background of the scene where Mr. White and Mr. Orange are talking at the end before the twist that he's having a shootout with the cops, but it's way too faint to hear whether he was killed, arrested, or pulled off another miracle escape.

Code Geass with two things

IS LuLu dead? also would his crazy plan actually work, not so much in show but IRL.
if you didn't figure it out he was dead, and as far as that working in real life it would. For a short while until the next generation takes over how has no reason to hate Lelouch and they forget it all together.

Doesn't he get C.C code at the end thus giving him immortality? As for the second part, those were my exact thoughts too.

Doomsday Metropolis. It's a pretty obscure movie, so let me give you some background information. It's about this Thai-General-Wizard-Guy, who really wants to destroy Tokyo. It's never really explained WHY he wants to destroy Tokyo, we just know he wants to destroy Tokyo.

Anyway, last ten minutes of the movie, there's this girl who's been training all her life to defeat the Thai-General-Wizard-guy. She's never been mentioned before, but she's very important... And she's naked because that's completely necessary. Anyway, she knows all this magic, and martial arts, and she just knows so many ways to completely and ultimately destroy people.

She walks up to the guy and gives him a hug...

And he cries a single tear...

And that's the end of the movie...

All he needed was a hug...
...from a naked, japenese, martial artist, magician chick.....who DOESN'T need that? lol

but eitherway...I want to see that movie now

The endings of the .hack TV series. I mean, I watched them without playing the games or knowing anything else about the story. Really irritated me, even after I realized that there was a continued storyline.
I know!

Oh no! Skeith is coming! We're so screwed!
Helba: I'm abandoning this field.

THE END

what the hell?

now, I know that there's more stuff and the end, and I've played every .Hack game that's out there, but still. for a story heavy game like .Hack//Sign, the ending was just cruel. Little closure, no questions answered, and SOOOOOOOOOOOORAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

And yes, Yoko has the kiss of death. Basically, in Gurren Lagann, you have a choice between sexing it up with the hottest babe in the show or dying a horrible, painful death, accompanied by drills and explosions.
Man nobody ever got nothin' from Yoko.

Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy. Not so much the ending as the story after about half way through the third book. It just falls apart and I was like "Really? That's it? All that build up, for THAT?". After 2 excellent books and more than its fair share of hype it was just massively disappointing.

Or for games, The Lost Crown. Sure, it's still imo one of the best adventure games I've played in years, but the ending does make you ask "What the hell? What about plot thread x, theme y etc?" It felt so rushed.

Halo 3: ODST. I just don't get it, what was the campaign even about? I played through the whole thing, and I honestly don't know what they accomplished in the end, I mean we a cool squid-thing...that has nothing to do with the game that's chronillogically after it. That's...helpfull?
I was rather miffed by it myself. I get that the Engineer has all this info on the Covenant, but surely that means the UNSC would know what the hell the Covenant were digging for instead of being all "ZOMG portal lol" in Halo 3.

I'm just waiting for 2012. That will be the worst ending evar!
But back on topic most of these crappy endings are explained by one of two things.
1. the oh shit we don't know how to end this thing phenomena.
2. We really need to leave this open ended so we can rape it for more money down the line.

That about sums it up thank you and good night.

Battlestar Galactica had a really bad ending and so did harry potter, damn i feel like a nerd now
Realy? You thought potter had a bad ending? Sure, the epilogue wasn't neccessary (although, being a sentimental fool I loved the one line about 'the bravest man...'), but I felt the enitr last book was just one big massively satisfying denouement. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying my opinion is any more valid than yours, I'm just surprised. I'm sure there a plenty of people who disagree with me (and they have every right to, but I've read more than my fair share of excellent writing and for me potter was one of the only children's (well, teen essentially) series' that transcended its audience and was a great read for adults too. The Deptford Mice and Deptford histories by Robin Jarvis are the others (seriously, if you haven't read them, give them a go. The Histories are particularly good, I read them before the Mice, but they're kinda prequels so it may well be best to read the Mice first).

Anyway, I digress.

Bioshock's evil ending for me. It was just like, "Alright, games over, thanks for playing, go do something else."

So now Two Face is robbing a Bank in Gotham and Bane has a case of Titan. Where did that box even come from? Finally, is Batman just going to apprehend Two-Face or is he going to clean himself up a bit first?

Wasn't there supposed to be an HK factory?

Worst. "No." EVER

Another comment I must make is for every game/ movie/ television show that ends with the, 'it was a dream' explanation. A lot of people don't like this kind of ending and I don't see why. Nobody seemed to mind that The Wizard of Oz or Alice in Wonderland were both dreams. I'm not saying all dream endings are good or warranted but there are greater evils in the world of endings ... like those two mentioned above.

Nothing compares to the ending for the manga "Yakuza Girl"; that one made absolutely NO sense!

Then again, I found that series to be one massive WTF...
