New guy at work is a fundie Christian/Hillsong. Then he made me lose the game... And then joined in when I started telling dead baby jokes!

So, how many of you want to murder me for making you lose?

People seem to think I have a kind/approachable look to me. Hanging out with a ridiculously egotistical friend made him wonder how someone who looked so nice could punch so hard.

People who think 9/11 was a hoax. And holocaust deniers.
Can you please explain how it is possible for the ground zero site to have molten metal on the remains of the steel spines?
And don't say it was the aviation fuel, it does not burn NEARLY as hot enough.

Ps. Don't think I'm denying that it was a fucking tragedy.
I don't want to start a war here so I'll ask the three major questions for you. Who did it? Why would they do it? And why hasn't anyone come forward with some legitimate proof? (i.e. documents, or whatever.)
Edit: Speculation is not proof.

I had a friend, well more of an associate, who was a pretty cool guy. He was funny, good bass player, very artistic and a nice guy. Then I found out he smoked pot. I could't believe it. It's always the last one you suspect.

Apparently, she actually believes all of this, for real.
Wow, that's... funny? I think I need to cut off my hands before they fall off from too much facepalming.

In fact, all planets are hollow and have inner suns.
I... wow, that is... just... really? I don't know what to say apart from OMG AND IT WAS SO OBVIOUS! THANK YOU TRUTHISM!!!

OT: My ex gf said she hates video games and is all in all completely ignorant to geeky stuff but for some reason she now has apparently started to play a sci-fi tabletop rpg with her boyfriend and some others.
Really, that confused the hell out of me.

I know this guy, and I figured "A highschooler? He must be liberal!" But then I made an off-hand joke at the expense of Sean Hannity, and he flipped a shit.
Sean Hannity makes Glenn Beck look like Keith Olberman.

And I like Glenn Beck.

I really don't know, but the first thing that came to mind is friction caused by the girders.....grinding against each other as it collapsed? That's probably stupid, I havn't done any research, but thats all I can think of, please don't yell at me.

Well, A bit, but inverse.

When girls see me most of them think I'm a more serious kind of guy, and that I don't drink or anything like that.

Turns out I'm one of the heavier drinkers in my school, and I like to go out quite a bit. Many people have told me they were shocked about that.

And reversely, many MANY people are amazed to find out I don't smoke. It's a fun thing.

Also, shortly after our break-up, I figured out that my ex-girlfriend had just found out one of her best friends was thinking of being bisexual and she totally flipped out. I was very surprised at her and that was part of the reason why I didn't get back together with her.
"Thinking of being bisexual"? How does that work, then? It's not a choice.

I said it wrong. I meant like she thought she might be bisexual. Not like "Oh I feel like kissing a guy and a girl today" but more like "I think I might be bisexual." Does that make sense?

It's my fault for not being clearer in my post. In fact, I think I will change it to be more clear now.

I've become friendly with a few people only to find out they're very homophobic. That revelation is usually followed by, in order: surprise, RAAAAAAGE, indignation, and ultimately sadness. Lots of people complain about camp guys being obnoxious, but I doubt they run into situations like that.

I also found out a few months ago when discussing Brightsided with my mother that she pretty much gets through life due to self-help literature.

I have this friend who seems very...out there, as in you'd think she's a hard time partier, but turns out she's like super devout Christian. Like, super crazy you'd never even know how crazy in love with Jesus she is.

And then there's another friend (both megs) who is rather conservative in appearance, but turns out she's a huge Tim and Eric fan, as well as the occasional drinker.

Shocking I know.

One of my friends always is the upbeat, happy-go lucky one in the group. One day we were talking about the big lebowski and i made a nihilism joke and he got all defensive because that's what he believes in. If you ever met him you would have no idea.
