I was wondering what everyone was thinking of the new walking dead game? I personally liked it. I really liked it actually, but I think that it needs to be 10 dollars cheaper. 25 bucks for 2 to 3 hours of game is a little steep
No, you've paid for all 5 episodes. You just get them later...Jesse Willadson said:no, I figure it will be the same length, around 2 to 3 hours. But there will be a grand total of 5 episodes. At 25 bucks each, thats 125 dollars for 10 to 15 hours of game.

The hell? I think you made a mistake: each episode is 5 bucks. The SEASON PASS, which buys you all episodes to be released, costs 25 bucks. And that is really not bad value for money, if every episode ends at the 2/3 hour mark.Jesse Willadson said:no, I figure it will be the same length, around 2 to 3 hours. It's based on the comics, not the TV series. The Madman said:I've heard good things about it myself, but as someone who really doesn't know much about the setting beyond what I picked up over what few episodes of the show I've seen, I'm hesitant to pick them up myself. Right now anyway, there's a decent chance I'll end up picking the series up once all the episodes have been released so long as the reviews continue to be so positive.
That just means I know even less about the series than I thought I did.Iwata said:It's based on the comics, not the TV series.
You should give it a chance. All you'll miss are a few "celebrity cameos" by comic book characters. The Madman said:That just means I know even less about the series than I thought I did.Iwata said:It's based on the comics, not the TV series.
Fair enough, but I had no interest in The Walking Dead, Telltale or zombies and I still love everything about it. I bought it for my roommate, but I enjoyed it tremendously. It reminds me of Cyberia in its limited interactivity and quirky storytelling, a little. The Madman said:I've heard good things about it myself, but as someone who really doesn't know much about the setting beyond what I picked up over what few episodes of the show I've seen, I'm hesitant to pick them up myself.
