I was wondering what everyone was thinking of the new walking dead game? I personally liked it. I really liked it actually, but I think that it needs to be 10 dollars cheaper. 25 bucks for 2 to 3 hours of game is a little steep

no, I figure it will be the same length, around 2 to 3 hours. But there will be a grand total of 5 episodes. At 25 bucks each, thats 125 dollars for 10 to 15 hours of game.

No, you've paid for all 5 episodes. You just get them later...

Game left me enthralled. You can choose on how much info you get on the HUD in addition to notifications about story points being revealed or not. What I really enjoyed was how much it mattered on what I said or not and how I would say a lie to one character would later bite me in the ass later in the game.

Seeing the "preview" for the next episode really shows the stage my current choices set for me and already I'm excited to play more.

The hell? I think you made a mistake: each episode is 5 bucks. The SEASON PASS, which buys you all episodes to be released, costs 25 bucks. And that is really not bad value for money, if every episode ends at the 2/3 hour mark.

As a game, I really enjoyed it. Can't wait for the next episodes.

I've heard good things about it myself, but as someone who really doesn't know much about the setting beyond what I picked up over what few episodes of the show I've seen, I'm hesitant to pick them up myself. Right now anyway, there's a decent chance I'll end up picking the series up once all the episodes have been released so long as the reviews continue to be so positive.

It's based on the comics, not the TV series.

That just means I know even less about the series than I thought I did.
You should give it a chance. All you'll miss are a few "celebrity cameos" by comic book characters.

Fair enough, but I had no interest in The Walking Dead, Telltale or zombies and I still love everything about it. I bought it for my roommate, but I enjoyed it tremendously. It reminds me of Cyberia in its limited interactivity and quirky storytelling, a little.
