I hate walmart as well.

Too bad there aren't any other stores in my town. Walmart's driven them all out.

sooo... you got mad at Wal-Mart because you missed the christmas shopping rush and sales and they were out of everything? hmmm... sounds like bad planning on YOUR part.

I don't really like Wal-Mart, however I love to go there and just LOOK at people.

I was once kicked out of a Walmart for helping a customer. No joke.

This foreigner comes up to me and asks me about the PS3 (He thought I worked there), a gift he wanted to get for his son for his birthday. He told me he didn't have much cash, but his son really wanted it.

I procceded to tell him about the inevitable Price drop. (The $299 one) and told him to just wait a little bit. He wasn't sure, since it would be after his sons birth day, so I even called his son and explained to him. Then this ***** came up to be and yelled at me. Needless to say, I never went back
An employee yelled at you? What did she say?
Something about me doing her job and her not getting commission. I told her to fuck off.
I wish that would happen to me. I need to slap some hoes around.
Heh. I wish I had slapped her. I was so annoyed at her. My parents were immigrants, and I knew what that guy and his son were going through. And its not like it is even a big deal. Apparently she didn't even work in electronics, which means that the sale would be turned over to someone in that department. That silly hoe

You need to have control over your hoes. That pimp (Read. store manager) is awful at his job.

Am I the only one who doesn't understand Wal-Mart hatred? I don't understand why a single store has so much animosity directed towards it. Yes, there is evidence of them mistreating their employees, but that's not what seems to be the issue.

Also, Wal-Mart being out of stock of certain items, especially high-selling ones like Modern Warfare 2, is no reason to hate them...Best Buy was arbuably just as likely to have been sold out of it.

Oh well, I'm a Canadian...anything that gets us out of the frigid cold ca't be too bad :p
Yeah I love wal mart(well not love but I shop there no qualms) they have everything in one stop cheaper than anyone(usually) so what if the service sucks a lot it's practically a freaking warehouse and the service sucks everywhere someone is paid 8-10 bucks an hour. (barring my employer target).

Getting pissed because we/they don't have something is a bit much. So you want that popular camera that was in the ad? well so did 150 other people who didn't wait till late to do shopping. And how inventory works its not always possible to keep things in stock just because we don't have the space to do that. We have a system that tracks sales of each item and then factors in things such as location, and sales on said item to determine how much we get of said item. Because if you order too much you lose a LOT of money, so its inevitable to run out of things. Especially hot items.

Alright, I was at Walmart 2 days ago, and i saw everything I wanted. Modern Warfare 2, a video camera at 179. A iPod at 144. Everything in stock, fine and dandy. So I come in, money in hand. I look for MW2, it is out. Spirits: sad. I look at the Ipod, it is now 245. Spirits: angry. They don't have any more video cams. Spirits: PISSED OFF! Luckily, I went to best buy and they had everything! I forgot about the Ipod, I'll save that for my bday in march. Now I always have a hatred for Walmart. Filled with people from the Rednecks and Ghetto. I swear, I get so pissed off there, I get migraines when ever i walk in there. If Walmart was Goku, Ignorance would be his power. It is all over the place! So share your stories and your feelings.
Gee, maybe you should have done your Christmas shopping BEFORE everything went out of stock.
It's not Wal-Mart's fault they sold everything they had in stock. Normally that would be considered a good thing, meaning they are doing their jobs at selling the products they hold in their store.

Correction: A fashion/clothes store after Christmas is the worst place on Earth. If said store doesn't have a security guard, old ladies will literally be trampled over by women desperately trying to buy clothes and a slightly lower price.

I live in Vancouver, and we have no walmarts, but they're encroaching on our territory and springing up in the smaller cities all around us. I'm scared. Also has anybody seen peopleofwalmart.com? It's rather hilarious.

Thankfully, in Ireland we don't have Walmart. I am so fucking glad that monument to consumerism does not exist in my country.
It's just because you're drunk all the time.

We have a different kind of Walmart. It's called ICA MAXI.
Yeah but you guys also have the Max Burger... so all sin is forgiven.

Walmart just likes to crush dreams, don't let it get you down soldier!

MW2 came out 11/10/09, assuming all hard core gamers buy it in a week. 11/10/09 hype draws the indifferent over the next 2. Over the period of a month, people already have it, or are not able to by it, or don't give a shit. Maybe 3 people a day. Best Buy has thirty on the rack. 30 more in the back. Walmart is twice that size, it has probably has 40 copies. here one day gone the next. I'm just saying. Did you hear about the guy who went to get Scribblenauts[ good game by the way] from Toy -R- UR's, their inventory: 5 COPIES! Big Stores=Big Inventory. But I learned a lesson from this. Always go to best buy. They have the stock and they aren't as big as walmart so they can hold it. PS. I also like looking at people in stores.

Well we don't have Wal-marts in Australia (We've got beaches, bitches and beer so that's good enough for us) but if you don't enjoy them just steer clear of them. Though what's so bad about Disneyland?
