Heh. I wish I had slapped her. I was so annoyed at her. My parents were immigrants, and I knew what that guy and his son were going through. And its not like it is even a big deal. Getting pissed because we/they don't have something is a bit much. So you want that popular camera that was in the ad? well so did 150 other people who didn't wait till late to do shopping. And how inventory works its not always possible to keep things in stock just because we don't have the space to do that. We have a system that tracks sales of each item and then factors in things such as location, and sales on said item to determine how much we get of said item. Because if you order too much you lose a LOT of money, so its inevitable to run out of things. Especially hot items.

Correction: A fashion/clothes store after Christmas is the worst place on Earth. If said store doesn't have a security guard, old ladies will literally be trampled over by women desperately trying to buy clothes and a slightly lower price.
I live in Vancouver, and we have no walmarts, but they're encroaching on our territory and springing up in the smaller cities all around us. I'm scared. Also has anybody seen peopleofwalmart.com? It's rather hilarious.
MW2 came out 11/10/09, assuming all hard core gamers buy it in a week. 11/10/09 hype draws the indifferent over the next 2. Over the period of a month, people already have it, or are not able to by it, or don't give a shit. Maybe 3 people a day. Best Buy has thirty on the rack. 30 more in the back. Walmart is twice that size, it has probably has 40 copies. here one day gone the next. I'm just saying. Did you hear about the guy who went to get Scribblenauts[ good game by the way] from Toy -R- UR's, their inventory: 5 COPIES! Big Stores=Big Inventory. But I learned a lesson from this.
