Greed would find Vera looking curiously at the various drinks at the bar, scanning them with her empty eyes. She didn't even register the man walking into the room.

[color=00ff99] [small] "Ugh... I've really got to stop with all of the robotic stuff. That didn't help me at all yesterday..." [/small] [/color]

Entering the lounge, Greed was displeased to find that D-Eye wasn't there, finding that the only person present was Vera. Not having paid attention to the screens displaying the various battles, he didn't recognise her.

"Aren't you a bit young to drink?" Greed idly remarked towards Vera as he walked towards the bar.

OoC: Hey. So, who shall I be?

@Gear: I'm not sure. We've got an android and a homonculus in the lounge right now, if that helps.

Vera looked over toward Greed somewhat surprised, making a small whirring sound as her head turned. [color=00ff99] "...Drink? ...I do not know that function." [/color] She said, a little less robotically than she was speaking last night, sounding a bit more like the teen she looked like.

"You what...?" Greed asked, slightly confused as he leanded on the bar counter. He heard the sound that Vera made upon turning her head, but believed this to be what he called Automail. "How do you not kn--Oh, no, wait. Lemme guess, you're not human?"

Vera nodded in the affirmative as she looked toward the drinks again. [color=00ff99] "I am an experimental android. I found myself here after being immersed in a training program. ...I have no prior knowledge of this place or its universe, could you please help fill in the gaps for me?" [/color] She asked, looking toward Greed with empty violet eyes.

Greed gave Vera a slightly intrigued look as he looked towards her eyes, followed by a blank stare upon mention of her being an android, this term being completely unknown to him. He shrugged in responce to Vera's question. "Beats me. I just arived here a day ago myself. Appearantly, it's a arena where folk fight one another for the hell of it." Having said that, Greed paused. "I've never heard of an android before, and I've heard of a lot of unusual things. Care to elaborate?"

Vera blinked as Greed said he didn't know much. [color=00ff99] "This is an arena? ...This is much different that the Overdome. This place is a bit more civil to its participants." [/color] In response to his second question, Vera's eyes began to have numbers and eventually words scrolling across them.

[color=00ff99] "An Android is a structure of metal and Artificial intelligence, usually made into the form of a human. The difference between an augmented human and an android is the fact that an android as never and can never be truly human... having no organic parts to them." [/color] She said. If Greed was observant, he'd see that she'd just been reciting what had been moving across her eyes.

"You can say that again. They were nice enough to give me a entire vault's worth of gold. How very thoughtful indeed." Greed remarked in responce to Vera's first statement. When numbers and words appeared before her eyes, he looked slightly perplexed. Okaaay. That's new. He listened to Vera's explaination with interest. The letters flashing infront of Vera's eyes were too small and moved too quickly for him to pick up on what it read. "A living machine...? Well, I'll be damned. Looks like alchemy isn't the only way to create an artificial human. Who made you, and were can I find this person? I'd love to meet him once I'm done here!"

Vera blinked a bit as Greed seemed excited. [color=00ff99] "My maker is named Dexenia Nexus. If I happen to find my way back to my dimension, I shall take you to meet her." [/color]

"Now that would be greatly appreciated." Greed answered with a smirk. Things like her... It...? Eh, her--Would rock the world! And I'd be known as the man who introduced it. Greed's Emporium... Sweet. "Anyways. Do you have a name, or are you just called android or something?"

D-Eye walked through the entrance of the Lounge, holding a small box in his left hand. "Wow, your still here Greed? I hope you didn't stay up all night for me" he said as he walked a little closer. he noticed Vera and gave her a little nod, seeing as his hand was full.

Vera blinked and returned a squeaky wave toward Deadeye before turning back to Greed. [color=00ff99] "My formal model name is 41X-16. My ailas or human name is Vera Inoue. What is your ailas, sir?" [/color]

 

[Chungus]

"Stay up all night for you?" Greed repeated as D-Eye entered the lounge, casting a single mildly interested glance to the box he was carrying. "Yeah, I don't think so. I might've been up for a while, but that sure wasn't for your sake." he added with a grin. "Anyway. Two questions. What's in the box, and are you ready to go a round?"

When Vera spoke, he looked back to her and dryly chuckled. "Well, I'll be calling ya Vera then. The other name's too much of a mouthful for my liking. And my alias would be "The Ultimate Shield", but the name's Greed."

"Sure thing, and just a little something I made up last night" D-Eye replied to Greed, he put the box on the table before opening it up carefully and taking out a small music stereo player. "Not quite a jukebox, but it can get some tunes for this place"
