Carmen nodded a bit, a small bit of color coming onto her face as Lapis' ears swayed along with her nodding. [color=bb0066] Even if she employs holy techniques... Those ears are so cuuute~ [/color] She then tilted her head a small amount. [color=bb0066] "Seeing as I have no idea what a Gria is, I'd say that I'm likely not one. Though could you explain what they are? Do you fight with them constantly?" [/color]

The demoness nodded as she used her wings to keep pace with Lapis. [color=bb0066] "It's been a while since I've spoken with someone, and I'm a bit curious to meet your friend... Two birds with one stone and all." [/color]

"It depends what you mean by 'with'." Lapis replied to Carmen. "Do I often find them as enemies? Not at all. Do I fight alongside them? Often enough. Our Clan has a few of them employed in it's ranks, and we are actually one of the few who do so, the only others I know of being Clan Bowen and Prima Donna. As for what a Gria is, they're creatures with a striking similarity to yourself, such that it was easy enough to mistake you for one. Some people claim that their features are due to being descended from mighty dragons, but I've never seen or heard of proof to confirm or deny this."

Lapis looked over at Carmen as she caught up and flew alongside her. "If you are that curious, perhaps I can introduce you to the other members of our Clan that have wound up here as well. Once I've managed to collect them all in the same room, that is."

[color=bb0066] "Interesting... I may have benefitted from lying about that then." [/color] Carmen said, chuckling a bit to herself as Lapis explained what a Gria is. [color=bb0066] "Because while I won't deny I could pass as a dragon-girl, I'm actually a demon. A succubus, to be precise." [/color] She looked over, raising an eyebrow. [color=bb0066] "There's more than just Jerrog? Odd. Only one other time has an entire group of people been transported in here..." [/color]

Lapis noticeably tensed up and looked straight ahead as Carmen outted herself as a demon to her. "You say you're an actual demon? I've only ever seen one before now, and to be honest, you look and act nothing alike. The one I saw was... far less reasonable and polite, to say the least." Though if you are anything like that thing, I'll need to keep my guard up... She breathed in and let out a deep breath, seeming to relax a little, but still not entirely so. "And yes, as far as I can tell, more than a few of us have wound up here. Though I don't believe we all arrived as a group, as it were. I've already seen two of my Clan mates, so I can't rule out that more haven't shown up. So for now, I have to look about and take stock of who all has wound up here."

Lapis and Carmen would have then reached the gate to the Arena. Lapis let out a sigh as she noticed it locked off, a sign above it reading, "Match in progress. No further entry allowed."
"Well I doubt this is where Jerrog is. If he were fighting in there, we'd have heard by now. I suppose we shall simply have to try the next location." With that, she turned back around and headed towards the Lounge.

Meanwhile, Jerrog had taken to having a nap on the sofa in the Lounge, showing his tenacity as a heavy sleeper in how nothing going on around seemed to so much as hint at riling him from slumber.

[color=bb0066] "Yes, an actual demon. And that sounds about right for an average demon. Probably one of the ugliest beings you've laid eyes on, correct?" [/color] Carmen said, chuckling a bit. [color=bb0066] "You need not worry so much, the only time you'll see me potentially act a bit out of turn is if I'm in the Arena. You've yet to give me a reason to be antagonistic to you." [/color]

She nodded along a little bit as Lapis continued speaking. [color=bb0066] "Ah.... so you've been more or less separated from the others... I see." [/color] Once the reached the Arena gates, Carmen sighed as she followed behind. [color=bb0066] "Ah, that's right. Well, there's only one other communal place he could be in, if not his room." [/color] As she headed toward the lounge, Carmen blinked. [color=bb0066] "....And you already know where it is..." [/color]

The water Nymph laid down on the floor, wrapping her dress closely around her. "Your probably wondering why [sub]I share[/sub][sub][sub] A body.[/sub][/sub][sub][/sub][sub][sub][sub] It's because I Yaaaaawn"[/sub][/sub][/sub] She said nodding off mid sentence

"Ugliest... I wouldn't quite say so. I've seen quite a many ugly things in my lifetime. I would describe it more as being the strangest thing I'd ever seen." Lapis answered Carmen. She breathed out a sigh of relief and relaxed noticeably more.

Lapis nodded her head, her ears flowing once again, then glanced back at Carmen as she lagged behind. "I've looked this place over once or twice after finding a few of my Clan mates, so I more or less know where things are. I've just simply... misplaced said Clan mates, for the moment."

Ness blinked once before crouching down and poking Water a few times. [color=666666] "Um.... You have a room to sleep in, miss. Sleeping here isn't something I'd..." [/color] Noticing Jerrog in the other side of the room, doing just that, she sighed. [color=666666] "...Nevermind." I guess I can't really tell about this place anymore. Or the people... [/color]

Seeing the bunny girl in the doorway, Ness waved at her.

Carmen tilted her head. [color=bb0066] "Ah... Interesting. Then what was the ugliest thing you've seen, if you don't mind my asking?" [/color] Seeing the ears bounce again, Carmen barely held back a squee as she caught up in time. She gave Lapis a knowing smile. [color=bb0066] "I'm guessing it wass rather hard to actually keep them all in one place even before coming here, right?" [/color]

The water nymph sleepily slapped away Ness before going back to sleep

"Do you know that daemon lady named Carmen?" Shi asked Ness suddenly.

"Oh that would without a doubt be the Malboro. Imagine an enormous mouth full of sharp teeth, countless tentacles, and the worst stench you could possibly think of. Then make it smell about ten-fold worse, at the very least." Lapis cringed and shuddered at her own description as she no doubt recalled what the creature looked like from her own memory. She shook her head at Carmen and replied, "It never seemed all that hard, our Clan leader did quite a good job of it. He always complained about how it was running him ragged, but he says the same thing about everything that isn't a comfy chair and a well-done steak."

Seeing she was being waved at, Lapis curiously waved back to Ness. As Shi opened her mouth once again, Lapis' ears pivoted towards her position. "Excuse me, but have any of you seen--" Lapis was cut off by Jerrog letting out a particularly noisy snore. "Never mind." She walked over to where Jerrog was sleeping, then began poking him in the face with the butt of her staff.

Carmen blinked a bit as she imagined what a Marlboro looked like and shrugged a small bit. [color=bb0066] "That does sound quite dreadful, more for the smell than anything else." [/color] She chuckled quite a bit afterward. [color=bb0066] "Ah, that sounds quite like someone else I know. Still, rounding up a bunch of people can't be a cakewalk by any means." [/color]

She looked Jerrog over as Lapis began poking at his face. Curiously, she began to flick the end of her tail into one of his nostrils to see what would happen.

Ness looked over as Lapis began poking Jerrog in the face. Hearing what she had said before, she let her be and hoped things wouldn't escalate once the man woke up. Looking to Shi, she nodded and pointed. [color=666666] "Yes, I know her. ...Why?" [/color]

Shi saw Carmen and seemed to forget about Ness. "Hey you're back! Where did you go so fast? Why do you have wings anyway? And a tail?"

Carmen growled to herself and looked away from Shi. [color=bb0066] "Try not to speak to me again. I tend to get angry around brats" [/color] She said dismissively.

"Huh? What's a brat?" Shi asked as she walked closer to Carmen.

[color=bb0066] "A sniveling little child that doesn't know when to shut up or recognize when they're not wanted." [/color] Carmen said.

"Ooooh. I wouldn't wanna talk to someone like that either." Shi said as she started sipping on another soda. "Do you like soda?" she asked next.

Carmen sighed again, facepalming hard and her tail thrashing around angrily. [color=bb0066] So you're just going to ignore that obvious hint? ..That wasn't even a hint, that was me telling her to fuck off. God... such a fucking.... "Stop talking to me before I end up killing you." [/color]

"Ha! I'd like to see you try!" Shi said as she walked away and went back to Ness' side. "She's not very nice."
