Ragnar grinned darkly.
"Getting in a fight helps you to control it? That doesn't sound so bad. I enjoy a good brawl myself. Any Space Wolf does. Perhaps you have more in common with some Wulfen than you think. I have not met too many humans off of Fenris who could handle their curse like that." He glanced up at Kenna again.
"Someone suggested a cure? What was it? Come to think of it, who was it?"

"Well, while I'll grant that the question of the afterlife is a big one, there is more to a spiritual life than just that."

"More just anything that releases adrenaline, I think. I could probably skydive and get the same effect. But I do like a good fight. I was actually training for MMA before all this happened. And the cure, the one who suggested it was someone that I had just beaten in the arena. Name's Carmen, I think. Silver hair, bat wings, weird eyes. She kept on tempting me to give in to my wolf side. The cure she suggested was a lotta hemlock or an exorcism, but she mentioned that the rules are different where she comes from, so they might no work for me."

"Yes. Research into technological advancement has largely been put on the back burner, so to speak, in favour of alchemical research. At least, that's what it's like in Amestris. I don't know if the same applies in other countries." Solaris commented. "And how advanced is your world?"

As Pix rose up and assumed her humanoid form again, Solaris moved off the bed, and opened her arms. After Pix molded herself around Solaris, she moved infront of the vanity mirror, picking up the pen on the way. "I can understand that. But after this, there won't be any more need to do it." She commented. After looking at the reflection in the mirror, Solaris pointed to the transmutation circle already present on the breastplate. "Can you move this one down?"

[color=80bb00] "Well... humans have things that allow them to clone one another or even add on parts from animals to themselves... so... making Chimeras without alchemy, I guess." [/color] Pix said, thinking for a bit. [color=80bb00] "They've got weird boards that people stand on and allow them to fly around in the air like birds and stuff. Floating cars and other stuff... Not to mention beings like that girl we were speaking about. They're called androids. Even if your would's going down the alchemical route, they probably have a lot of things they can do that people in my world can't." [/color]

As she molded to Solaris, Pix made a small grunt in effort and the circle moved downward toward the abdomen of the armor.

Ness looked over again, blinking a small bit. [color=666666] "Then what would you define spirituality as?" [/color]

Ragnar leaned forward.
"That daemon does not have the best interests of any human in mind. None of them do. Be very careful of anything she says to you." He told Kenna urgently. "I do not know what this hemlock is, but do not take anything she offers you." With this, he stopped to think.
"That said... what you did before, channeling the wolf to change your shape in part... that suggests embracing it on some level. And yet, you still control it. That is an admirable thing, and must take a great deal of strength. It is that balance between the curse of the Wulfen and the great strength that it grants us that makes my chapter so formidable. You should be proud of that strength, and hone it. That seems like the way to gain greater control. Use it to your advantage, but never allow it to consume you."

Kenna nodded. "Thank you. I've learned how to use it, but I'm still trying to get rid of it. I don't wanna risk losing myself to this thing."

Malcor's voice dropped in pitch. "I don't feel comfortable answering that question Eddie. Could we shift the conversation?"

Ragnar nodded.
"I can't say I disagree with that. For a human, this curse may not be worth the fate that may come with it. In the meantime, if you ever wish to 'blow off steam' as you say, I am always here." He chuckled cockily. "That is if you think you can take me, little wolf."

Kenna smirked, standing up. "Is that a challenge, Buzz?"

"Hmm. That sounds interesting, I must say... Especially the flying boards. The closest thing we have to airtravel is a hot air balloon. And to copy bodyparts onto other beings...? This should be possible with alchemy, in theory, but I've never heard of anything like it being done before. And things that our world has your doesn't? Well, there are the various forms of alchemy practiced by the State alchemists, but other then creating gold or Chimera, I can't think of anything that's really noteworthy."

After Pix moved the circle down, Solaris began tracing in the indentation with the end of the pen, applying light pressure in doing so. "I'm not hurting you like this, am I?"

"Sure." Eddie responded with a nod. "So, what's up with the bird's mask? Is that to go with your bow thing, or something?"

Ragnar grinned and got to his feet.
"Yes it is." He said, before walking out with her. It wasn't until they were going out the door that he spoke again.
"Buzz?"

"Some famous astronaut." Kenna said as she followed Ragnar out. "I'm up for a match right now, if you're ready."

And what forms do the State alchemists do?... if you can actually tell me about that stuff." [/color]

"Ah, very good. Yes, I think I should be ready as I am." Once they were at the door of the arena Ragnar shrugged off his thunderwolf mantle and laid it aside, having decided to fight bare chested instead of donning his power armour. He would fight as he had fought the thunderwolf, with only his skill and strength as his armour, and Kraken's Tooth as his only weapon."[/color]
