"I know she is, or just was, in the lounge." Kenna said. "Advantage to wolf-hearing, I guess. Anyway, we find her room, poke our heads in to see if there's anything big, if we find something see if we can take it with us, then get outta there before she's back."

[color=666666] "True... but they probably just need some help in getting themselves straightened out." [/color] Ness said, finding herself in the locker rooms. [color=666666] "I refuse to believe that these people became as crazy as they seem to be by choice. They had something horrible or extraordinary happen to make them like this... and as such, there should be some way to make them less dangerous to themselves and the people around them... They just need to be reached out to is all..." [/color]

She sighed a small bit to herself before nodding toward Solaris. [color=666666] "I'm ready to go when you are, Ms. Solaris." [/color] The fedora girl rolled her shoulders a small bit as she waited.

[color=666666] Jeez, I feel stiff... [/color]

"... Well bye than Merperson! I'll be here in the lounge if you need me!"

"Taking anything from her room may be unwise. If we find... well, I do not know what we may find. Better not to speculate yet, I think." Ragnar led the way, already knowing where Solaris's room was, and soon they were at the door.
"You should keep a lookout at the end of the hallway. Somewhere that you can see anyone coming well in advance, but still have time to warn me without letting them know what is happening."

"Good point... And good idea." Kenna nodded. "You go check inside, I'll keep an eye out." She got into position.

"You sound like a social worker." Solaris remarked with a minor chuckle, shaking her head slightly. "I was a reporter for for six years, and saw some grissly scenes in that time... Forgive me if I don't share your positive views on the matter..." She added, her tone darkening by a small amount as she spoke. Wherther this was for a reason or faked was impossible to tell.

Blowing a small sigh as she and Ness left the locker rooms, Solaris nodded towards Ness, and entered the arena propper, turning around once positioned opposite the entrance, and assusming a battle stance.

Once Nanami began moving on, Selim did the same, staying close to her, occasionally looking over his shoulder with a scared expression on his face. [color=915f6d]"Where are you going, Mister Knight?"[/color] He asked uncertainly.

Ragnar would find Solaris' door to be locked.

Ragnar groaned as he rattled the door handle. He glanced back at Kenna.
"Anyone within earshot?"

"III ssmmeelll Vvaanneessa. Sshee hhellpp." She replied to Selim, seeming to be very much driven to find her at this point. "Wwhhyy yyoouu ffoollloow?" she asked as she continued on.

Ness blinked and idly scratched the back of her head. [color=666666] "...I-I'm guessing that's not really a good thing, huh? But I guess that wouldn't be all that bad..." [/color] She then gave a small sigh as she walked outside and adopted a fighting stance of her own.

The background turned into one like a small island beach, the tide bringing in small waves occasionally and the sun beating down on the two combatants.

Kenna stopped for a second, checking with eyes and ears, before looking at Ragnar. "I think we're clear."

 

[Random berk]

Ragnar leaned against the door, holding the doorknob tight and bracing his other palm against the edge of the door before giving it a shove. With a tearing crack, the doorframe splintered behind the latch and a chunk of it tore free, allowing the door to swing open. Ragnar stepped inside and looked around at the vintage German decor for a moment, sniffing the air. Once again, he could pick up Solaris's stink from the room itself.

Without delay, Malcor swung his blade at the nearest chair, slicing it in two. He collected the wooden seat in his hand, holding it like a frisbee, and smiled humorlessly. He turned to face Rex.

"The work paid well, and I got to travel with the publishers paying for it. Those are the only good points I can think of." Solaris commented with something of a joking tone. As the arena changed to become the island, Solaris looked around for a moment, wondering what would happen if one were to swim off into the distance, before setting the thoughts aside, and looking back to Ness.

After taking a shallow breath, Solaris extended her right hand with an open palm towards the ground infront of Ness' feet, and touched the transmutation circle on the stomach area with her left hand.

[color=915f6d]"Vanessa? Someone you know is here too, then? Is she knight like you?"[/color] Selim asked, backto being cheery now the Ulysses had left. [color=915f6d]"And I'm following because I'm kinda bored, and you're cool! I have lots of questions to ask!"[/color]

Entering the room, Ragnar would find nothing had changed since last he was there, save for the bed sheets looking slightly more disshalved after Solaris had laid on the bed, and one of the chairs having been moved.

Kenna winced from the noise that Ragnar made, then got a lungful of Solaris' scent, along with some slight hints of Pix. "Yeesh..."

OOC: @Nailik: Because Space Wolves are born and bred for subtlety. In any case, he didn't technically break the door down. He just broke the latch.

Ragnar strode in and began to rummage around half-heartedly, not really sure what he should be looking for. This was seeming more and more liek a terrible idea with every minute that passed.

"Vvaanneesssa hhummann, nnott kkniighht, sshhee ssmaartt tthouugh." She replied, as she got to a crossroads, she stopped for a moment, sniffing the air for a moment before heading towards the arena prep room.

"Find anything yet?" Kenna asked, still keeping an eye out.

With Malcor already picking up a weapon, Rex sighed and shrugged before running in and swinging a quick jab with his leading left hand. The punch was aimed toward the elbow of Malcor's sword arm and would hurt a bit more than the speed of the jab would suggest it would, but was mostly for the purpose of feeling the man out.

As Solaris tapped the circle on her hand, Pix had herself shoot a small strand of goo at Ness, looking like a small spear. [color=666666] "...W-Woah...!" [/color] However, the strand shot out deliberately slow, giving Ness time to hop backward and have the goo dip into the sand harmlessly. It began to reel back a small bit as Ness decided to keep her distance for the moment as she took a breath and had a small ball of light manifest in her right hand.

[color=666666] "I'm sorry to hear that your job wasn't very enjoyable..." [/color] She said sympathetically as she tossed the ball toward Solaris.

Kenna's ears would eventually pick up on someone walking down toward her way, though the steps were obviously faint.

[color=915f6d]"So she's a friend of yours, right? When and where did you meet her? What is she like, apart from being smart?"[/color] Selim asked as he walked alongside Nanami, looking up to her.

Rummaging through the vanity cabinet, Ragnar would find several lipsticks, bottles of parfume, and boxes containing various powders, with brushes to apply them. Rummaging through the bedside table, he would find a box of matches, and a crime novel. Looking through the cabinets in the bathroom, Ragnar would find a tube of toothpaste, two different bottles of shampoo, a bottle of conditioner, and a bar of soap. All in all, there was nothing suspicious to find in the room.

"Hmm. Well, it wasn't so bad. Even when reporting some of the more unpleasant things to happen, a good gla--" Solaris began, but then cut herself off when Ness threw the ball of light at Solaris. -glass of wine, and I moved on quickly enough."

With that said, Solaris extended a open hand towards the ground infront of Ness' feet again, and touched the circle on the stomach area. Should Pix fire the spear where Solaris intented, Solaris would then jerk her arm upwards, intending to throw sand in Ness' face.

"No, I'm not getting anything." Ragnar replied, still searching while trying not to disturb too many items. Then he had a thought. The door was obviously broken. At this stage, it was better to make it look like a basic robbery than anythnig targeted. He began to rummage through everything a bit more roughly after that.
