"Well..." Solaris began, but deliberately trailed off for a moment, sighing as she glanced down to the ground, before looking back up to Ness. "It was a lack of focus. You see, this is what I use to mold the armour to suit the situation." She began to explain, pointing towards the faux transmutation circle on the stomach area. "It's a universal transmutation circle. The upside of which is that it requires no speciffic set of instructions for it to work, alowing for versitility. The downside is that it the intructions need to come from the alchemist, and require focus. When I was standing perfectly still, focusing on the intended effect was simple, but when I transmuted when I ran... Well, what happened, happened."

When the young boy entered the room, Selim cast a cursory glance towards the new entree. This didn't last long, however, as upon Carmen waking up, Selim went to hide under the bar counter, huddling up in a corner. He sat with his hands pressed against the back of the counter, so he could push off it and rush out when he needed.
